TL;DR: Press Z & X(Or A & B for controller) to destroy buildings and move forward to avoid missile that's chasing you.

Story: You are a giant slim consuming all in your path engulfing entire cities one building at time growing to become stronger.

Mechanics: Match the correct button/(button combos) to destroy buildings in front of you increasing you strength and helping you gain distance from the missile that is chasing you until you are finally big enough to jump and avoid the missile.

Controls: Two Buttons Z and X or For Gamepad A and B. If you're unhappy with the key bindings you can edit them in Resources/Data/Config/Keybindings.json using the SFML_CODES File as Reference For Key Codes. :)

Code: The Codebase for the project was a Generic Resource manager for a range of resources and the SFML development library version 2.3.2. Feel free to read the source code to see how I accomplish anything I do warn you though Ludum Dare code is not my best work, I get very messy when I just want to push out features or deal with annoying bugs.

Thank you for playing my game I hope you enjoy! :)

I'm really digging the audio, wish I could do that! Could benefit a great deal from showing which color is destroyed by which button, was stuck for a couple minutes in level two because when you fail just once when the rocket comes in you die :(
If you don't want to show which button does what, I think it would be nice to give the player more time to learn them. The yellow building completely threw me of as well, since I thought it was the same as blue but for the other button. I can see where this is going once you know the controls in and out, and is probably a lot of fun once you get there, but you need to give the player a chance to get there ;) Looking forward to the post-compo version!

Yes yes yes! That awesome. Great audio and mood. I beat the game and that was the funnest one I've played so far. I'm not just saying that because I'm biased towards slimes. Love the fact that you have a tutorial/intro and ending. I kinda powered through the last level too fast though, could have used a heads up to slow down. Took me a few times to beat the last few levels but not too hard. Showing a little A, B, AB, and the pattern for the yellow building, at least in the first level, would make it a bit more accessible. Overall great game, very complete for a compo entry, and lots of personality! ***** :)
