Relentless Siberia is a game where you start of in a stranded city that is being overrun by snow, the longer you survive the blizzards throw more and more snow, it starts being difficult to navigate the map whilst getting chased by deadly wolfs that breached the city, there is no way out and getting all the materials to survive is hard, food, water etc. It's a survival game with raising difficulty, fun gameplay and artstyle. We hope You have a blast playing it and giving us positive ratings. Stay humble!

Basic tutorial for the things we didn't list:

-LMB for the left equip slot.

-RMB for the right equip slot.

-RMB on an item to eat or drink it (if consumable).

-RMB to reload the gun( the gun must be in a equip slot).

-Snow takes 3-5 hits to take down.

-Tree takes 7-9 hits to take down.

-The item spawns are random so you might not always find everything youre searching for.

-TIP: If you see spawned item and you don't need it,move it somewhere else so other items can spawn there

Hey, I like your idea and the concept! Your game has a nice retro charme. You have a lot of gameplay elements for only 72 hours, so respect! Thanks for the great submission!

The graphics are too inconsistent and the perspective is very weird which makes navigating the map harder. The mechanics seemed too confusing, tutorial could be more informative. The lack of feedback made it even more confusing. You can't tell when you hit an enemy, when enemy hits, when you are hungry, when you are thirsty, the actions take too long, I wasn't sure for a while if my shovel was even doing anything. After searching through whole map I didn't find torch and any ammo. I didn't quite understand how to get more water.

This game is done pretty well, I like the "snow blocking off streets" mechanic, it fits the theme quite well.
But I had to figure out how to eat (I eventually found out that I have to right click on items).
The Graphics are pretty good and the colors fit the overall mood, good job on that.
A "progressbar" for cutting down trees would be pretty cool, same for Wolfs.

@lazarche I hope I didn't sound too discouraging. Fitting so many mechanichs in a game in 72 hours is pretty impressive! I just thought that it would be good to tell my thoughts on how the game could be improved

Everyone thank you for the feedback it means quite a lot I also thank you for enjoying and critisising our game. Now individualy. Lamossus I dont know about my collegues but I find it as constructive critisism every comment good or bad is very welcome, the item spawns are random so it all depends on luck itself I know it can be frustrating but we tried our best, for the graphics too hehe i was drawing everything i know im not even decent but i am working on it. Thanks again! Grewoss, thank you for the support, the idea of progress bars came to mind but we didnt have any time to implement it and kinda forgot it at the end, the item usage or the RMB was listed in the tutorial screen but hey its okay if you missed it. Thanks again! Plukers, hey there thanks for the feedback we did our best to fit everything we could into the game, thank you for giving feedback once more! Crafty-nine, thank you for the incouraging words we will do everything we can to do so. Thanks again! Rother games, thanks for the feedback we will look into it asap, but it was tested for a couple of hours and no errors were found then, and other people don't have the problem, but we are going to try to fix it if possible. Thanks again!
Thanks everybody for the ? time I will make sure that my team plays and rates your games. Stay humble!

I think this has potential, The few changes you should make for future versions if you plan to make any, Is that you should get either audio or visual feedback for successfully hitting something. The audio and visuals did what they needed to and set premice for a darker time the game is set in. Well portrayed and I personally love the control style, though I think it might need tweaking since placing items in my inventory seemed clunky. Other than that, Well done!

It's a nice concept, just needs a little polish if you were to pick it up at a later time.

And I like how you went with wolves as the enemy. I would've gone with zombies and that would be kind of lame...

fatal error every times the wolf attacks me. But I watched your video, and I really like this type of game (almost like project zomboid), it was really ambitious of to try it. I would like to point out though that the music was very low, you should really look into if you have any options for normalizing audio (compressors, limiters etc).

@outterest @kjetil @flower Thanks everyone for the nice comments and feedback. I will make sure to rate your games. Now seperatly. Outterest, thank you, we might continue working on it but not now, as for the zombies they were the first idea that came to mind but they became kinda mainstream and boring so we chose wolves as they are often found in colder areas.Thank you alot again! Kjelti, thank you for both the comment and feedback, we are aware that there is a bug and it crashes the game and we taught we fixed it but it doesnt happen with everyone and it happens at random so we can figure out which part of the code is the problem, for the music we went for the idea of something low for some enviormental or rather "blind" or "moody" gameplay, we tried music that more resembles the cold, decayed time of the game. Thanks again so much.Flower, thank you for the nice comment, the graphics can be weird at some places of the map and its my fault since i did the artwork but i will try to work on that as much as i can. Thank you again so much.
For the ? time thanks everyone as i said i will make sure me and my team playes and rates your games. Stay humble!

Great game! I didn't know at the beginning how to consume items and I didn't know when the enemies hit me and when I do hit them, but the mechanics worked really good. The artstyle was really well made and the audio sounded very retro and fitting.

I like the concept of Your game. The graphics is also nice. But You should repair going through doors mechanics in Postjam updates(If You plan to still work on game) and also adding loot that spawns every few minutes would be nice, because after scavanging city a bit, I couldn't get any water. Anyway nice game!

This was a neat game. I liked how you approached running our of space with Siberia and the snow. It didn't really hook me. I basically just looted buildings and killed wolves until my inventory ran out of space. I liked how you added a tutorial, but the spacing of the lines of text were not so great. I liked the swiping animation and how it changed depending on what you were using, but I really think adding a little more animation to player and wolf movement would've been good as well. Nice game, and good job!

Nice game I liked the pixel like art style very much. The music contributed greatly to the mood. That being said I like the controls and I liked the idea of snow filling up the whole map and making you isolated to one place. And nice touch to the title Relentless Siberia.

@cristihkj @oriondark7 @skippynose2 Thank you everyone for the nice comments it means a lot. I dont have much to say but about the spacing, yea its my fault i tried to fit everything so its a little confusing to read. The animations do need more work but they were really hard so they required a lot of time. Anyways thanks to all for the comments, i will make sure my team rates your games as well. Stay humble!

Man, you guys managed to make quite some stuff within 3 days. I liked the survival aspect of the game and the music was quite fitting, expand on this and the game may very well stand up on its own.

The only complaint I have is that it would be nice that there was some sort of indication when your guy is hurt or loosing health.

Great job, and great potential.

The look of inside buildings was very nice. The snow filling up was interesting, but it felt annoying/fiddly when moving around a lot of the time. The mood and misery of the whole experience made up for it though, nicely done.

Nice game, it must have been a challenge to do a survival in 72h! I liked the music and graphics but the tutorial was really hard to read for me and I didn't get what was the point of having less space to navigate. I didn't understand how to use the shovel and the game crashed when I looted the rifle. Overall nice work! Had fun killing my first wolf.

I liked the game but it was complicated what to use where also there was no fewedback on damage. I liked the audio and visuals though very much a siberia feel. If you could find a way to make it a bit more clear what to do this would be more fun.

@lonazen Very fun game! It reminds me of some survival games like Don't Starve. The pixel arts look nice. The audio is also good. The blocking snow and limited inventory space sort of fit the theme. The map is big I like the design that I can enter the interior of each house. There is an issue that everytime I die and restart the game, the items in my inventory would not disappear. I don't know if it's a bug or is done on purpose, but then when I die again with some items in inventory, a fatal error message window would pop up. I also notice that some snow in the map is part of the background and cannot be removed, and I think they are sometimes distracting. I also hope you can give some explanations on how to make a camp fire using logs as I still don't know how to do that.

However overall it's a very interesting game. It's awesome that you could make such a big map and so many items in the limited time. Good work!

@atom0520 Thanks for the great feedback, im glad you enjoyed it.These were bugs and will be fixed when we continue development. About the error we tried fixing it many times and failed, im the designer so im not really sure what it could be but my friend tried his best (sry about that). Some snow was left there for decoration and we should've made it able to remove, but some was left there for an easter egg hidden somewhere. As for the camp fire it has been explained in the tutorial but its okay if you missed it it happends, basically you take 5 logs and pile them up, then take a torch and drop it over the logs and the fire should appear. Thanks again for the great review. Stay humble!

@lonazen Oh I see the explanation of making camp fire now. Sorry for my oversight. I didn't expect there's also an easter egg hidden in the map. That's very interesting. Keep up your good work!
