Save the world or just feed your family - today it doesn't really matter. Grab your trusty green sack and become one of the famous ghostlike invisibles of the world !

About

Little stealth-like game. Some kind of platformer, where you accomplish tasks by stealing gold. Take coins and jewelry from chests and jars, and bring them to "the Green Sack". When there is no gold left -- you've complete your task. The more gold your foxy is carrying, the slowier it is. But watch out for grandpas !

Fun game. Though I found that when you went underground you just get stuck... and have to close and reopen the game to try again because you can't die and can't jump out. Maybe I was missing something though.

A nice little platformer. The graphics were nice, the music added to the mood and the objective was pretty intuitive. I just think dying in one hit is a little too unforgiving. Nontheless, a very solid entry :)

oh no! you can't escape the underground at all, even after only picking up one bag :-O

lovely graphics. really loved the fox. grandpas also look scary! really don't wanna get in touch with them. music was cool, too. liked that there is a death music cue.

good stuff overall!

It's really a pretty little game. Pretty hard since you only have one life, but the gameplay pretty well made :) Good job !

** If you can't escape the underground **

There is double jump in the game. We totally forgot to mention it. Fixed that already, so be sure to use double jump ability

Fun and cutesy game, I totally dig the art. I got stuck underground, but yeah the comments showed there was a double jump. Whoops, might want to mention that in game. Small sneaky thieving fox is best fox.

I liked this a lot, instructions about the double jump should be clearer (I got stuck for a while before realising I could).

Very nice - everything seems to fit together really well! I didn't realize that I was being slowed down because of the things in my bag until a good while in. After that, the first level was a breeze! Nice job!

oh congratulation! Nice art! Can I follow it also on indiexpo? Do you have also a page there? This looks great! I looked for the games that used the #LDJAM but I don't find yours. So good luck!! I will hope to make a video about it!

Nice game, but has some serious flaws.

I didn't need skill to pass the game, I needed __patience__. You must repeat some actions several times because if you do it all at once, you'll be too slow and get killed. Game becomes __repetitive__ because of this.

I encountered some weird error on level 3. I had to restart the game. There was no level select so I had to play first 2 levels again. It was annoying. I know that implementing level select takes some time and might be a problem during the Jam so I suggest you implementing __next level key__.

Cute and pretty fun to play, albeit it's fairly repetitive and ends suddenly at the 3rd level. As others have said, 1 hit kills are a tad harsh, but I think they work as is because they force you to be extra careful. You have to move pretty quick to avoid being killed and the gold slowing you down makes it chancy. That said, giving you even 2 lives without upping the difficulty a little would probably ruin the game. The double jump is absolutely required and maybe relied on a just a bit much in the current levels. A little more use of underfloor tunnels might be interesting.

The art's pretty good, especially considering it's LD. I do think a little variation would improve it though, like different moon phases and some variety of mole outfits (esp. other colors). You could also have copper, silver, and gold jewelry/loot for some visual variation. It would also have been interesting for the buildings to have doors (either permanently open or open/close functionality too), some outside lamps, and other aesthetic details. The same goes for the "bank" which basically just means an underground area with more loot. A front sign, an alternate set of wall tiles for the "vaults" and vault doors would be nice.

Less repetitive music or some more audio/sound effects would be nice, it gets kinda annoying by the time you've almost finished the game.

Overall, pretty solid platformer, despite feeling a little demo-y due to very minimal mechanics.

The fox is just adorable. We need more games with foxes in them, clearly.

*Ahem* ... As a whole it's quite cohesive with the music and the art and all (and this is one of those few cases, except the other game i encountered where you were carrying coins), where getting slower actually makes sense from the game's perspective too!

If theres a gripe I have with the controls it is that you used arrow key up rather than a dedicated jump key, I can not even describe just how annoying this can sometimes be.. :P

That aside, great work guys :)

A very simple and fun game, though I agree that patience and a little bit of foresight are all that is needed to beat this game. Graphics look very cute an nice.

one of the best coin based games in the jam. I like it that I can back in between and decide myself how much I'd like to carry
