Description

Caught next to a star about to go supernova, low on fuel...

Outrun the supernova, stopping at small planets along the way to collect fuel.

Controls

In space:

Left/Right: Turn your ship

Forward/Back: Speed up or slow down

Planetside:

Up/Down/Left/Right: Move

Space (Jump): Jets (or return to space if near your ship)

Ctrl (Fire1): Shoot (to mine fuel)

Interesting idea, and nicely executed.

Having different planets would be neat :)
And a retry option, currently I have to reload the site to play again.

Nice little game. It reminded me a lot of Blaster Master for the NES, which was one of my favorite games as a kid.

@endurion Thanks. Those are both ideas I had, but didn't think I'd be able to do (successfully) within the weekend.

@levidsmith Thanks. A top-down NES shooter was sort of the feel I was going for.
