Sorry oh sorry (hellfest simulator) by nidup

[raw]
made by nidup for LD 42 (JAM)

Johnny Kilmister is a huge fan of Motor Raid.

He never went to any concert because he's not comfortable in a crowd, especially when running out of space.

Motor Raid just announced their very last show, it will take place during the HellFest, Johnny decided to go.

Help Johnny to level up his metal concert skills! :guitar: :drum: :microphone:

As a metalhead myself... it was fun to play.. sadly I wasn´t sure how to score on wall of death. I also was hoping to listen some really heavy metal. Tho running out of space was really there. Maybe the crowd should have been more massive. It was quite easy to go through the crowd. Leaving the arena should be another way to score...since in reality thats where the most people are when the show ends.

this is absolutely awesome, would have been nice to have some clearer explanation of what is going on but this is actually the best game I've played so far. Also gotta give props to those sound effects ;)

Great look, nice soundfx, great theme and mood. The mechanic - stay in the zone is kind of not entertaining for me. Adding additional mechanic (abilities like push people in wider raidius or dropping something of interest elsewhere luring people there while you party, perks like bed smell) may benefit the game greatly. Overall, nice result!

Hello from Caen !

I scored 581074.
Nice game ! The mood made by the graphics and the sounds (I hope less people are vomiting in the Hellfest than in this game ;-) ) is awesome. You found a very good difficulty curve (not too much people to discover the game, then plenty of people everywhere).
Congratulation for your entry !

Happy to see people using Phaser by the way. And you made me discover BeepBox, it seems cool !

The game really fits the theme very well and it has very great execution! I love the art style and the audio, it makes the game has very good mood. A bit more other ways to push people away will be great and maybe add a bit more varieties.

This is awesome! The theme fits perfectly, but doesn't feel forced at all!

I saw Motörhead at FortaRock in 2013, though from a bit of as distance as I was hanging out in the festival's biergarten. A man's gotta have priorities. I am generally more familiar with the carrying-beer-back-to-friends minigame than the pit minigame at concerts these days. 🤘

This entry is definitely charming, and while I'd have liked some deeper game play (like others have already said), I had fun. I did lose track of myself on a number of occasions, which made things difficult. I scored 834280 in the end. Nice work!

Makes me wish we had gone with this idea at the start. So much fun and those audio clips made me laugh pretty hard. I would genuinely recommended this to anyone who hasn't played this yet to play and enjoy.

This game is awesome, love the idea and the humor and the gameplay!

The only thing i think could have done better is the music, for a game about a music concert, the music didn't feel exciting enough and was too much of a mostly noticeable background thing...

I've never played type of game before. It is a very fresh and new experience. The movement of the crowd is minutely and very cute. I noticed that I could not see the bands that I was absorbed about picking up places. My score was 409653. Great works!

Wee, chiptune-ish metal-ish that-one-jerk-at-the-metal-show simulator!

This was pretty great, and a unique take on the theme. Gave a good level of challenge and didn't overstay its welcome either. I managed to get a high score of 450,328.

Thanks for a fun game
