So much I wanted to do(especially balancing), but so little time... No matter, it's done for now and I hope you folks enjoy what I managed to make during those intense 48 hours!
Plot:
In search for the hardest material on the universe, you come across a lonely planet - Earth. Battle your way through Earth's defense while scavenging for their precious Legium blocks for your research!
Instructions:
-W and S - Move forward and backward
-A and D - Rotate left and right
-Hold shift for sharper turns
-Hold space for a speed boost
-Left click to shoot your laser!

The idea is fine, and the game is easy to understand and it is fun to play. I really like the simple graphics in this game. It really needs some sound effects and/or some music, without this the game world feels very empty. But overall a fine compo game.

@jk5000 Thanks for giving it a try and for the feedback! I regret not dedicating a time for the sound and music, turns out the project was a bit too ambitious for my first compo. Definitely a lesson learned! Cheers!
