I will give it another go when I get my GTX1060 laptop from the office.
PS: Please make this into an actual game :D
Controlling cart was quite hard, but with time i got used to how swingy it is.
The idea itself is great! It reminded me of this old russian handheld game with catching eggs :D But in nicer, modern version :D https://i.ytimg.com/vi/m3kgHsHRPEI/maxresdefault.jpg
Also plays well; originally thought that an interact button would be better than mouse click to manipulate objects but mouse click allows you to pick specific packages when they're in a pile which a button might not. Speaking of piles of boxes: some of them, mostly the size 1 boxes, would roll back down the conveyor belt when reaching some of the steep inclines and stay there until another box pushed it up. Not sure if intended or not; but if not, definitely falls under the 'it's a feature, not a bug' category! Adds to the general chaos as the difficulty *ramps up*.
Audio sounds compressed, but otherwise sufficient.
All in all, fantastic achievement. Well done.
There however was one detail that made it very frustrating for me and drew away most of the enjoyment. That is that I have to be precise with my clicking when loading boxes - especially when the screen moves. Maybe it would not be such problem if the screen was still. It felt like the main part of how much score I get was how accurate my clicking was when loading the boxes. This game, in my opinion, should reward time management and quick planning, rather than first-person shooter skills.
I would give each box much bigger range where it can be clicked and make them glow when the mouse is near enough. It would be nice to have them glow green when you can pick them up, yellow when you can't reach them and red when they cannot fit your cart.
If you made those changes, I would love to return to the game and hunt the high-scores.
---
It took me quite a while to understand that the numbers on the boxes were their size. I thought I had to read the number on each box and based on that deliver it to the correct shelf. If instead of a number you had a picture of the correct box above the shelves, it would be much clearer.
---
I would prefer mouse controls for movement rather than wasd, but that may be personal taste.
---
Also, the high scores didn't work for me.
* graphics were great
* controls felt good
* game starts out a bit slow
* not sure if it is intended... but it looks like the game generates some imposible situations were boxes are falling off at 2 locations almost at the same time (I didn't see a way to grab a box off the belt before it fell.. if so that was on me)
The controls are a bit of a mess since walking around and turning is almost impossible.
Control is very complicated, but you get used to it.
And ... I could not catch a single box, they fall on the cart, but still break up > _ < how to do it? I stupid ;c?
But i think the main issues of your game is that the controls are not aligned with the camera (pressing up goes to the upper/left diagonal) and it is very frustating.
Also some music and more sounds when placing box on shelves could have been super cool :)
Keep it up !
To be honest, though, it's a kinda frightening look into the inner workings of storage and delivery companies :D
That said, your game was interesting and, like many others have said, the "rainforest" company was a cute idea that was executed very well graphically!
The only annoyance is that the view of the floor is a bit too constrained. I would have loved the possibility to zoom out to get a better overview. Also the packages could have been a bit more visually distinct.
Very well done!
graphics are cool and animations too :)
Very beautiful !! Congrats :)
Maybe you can checkout our game too ? :)
Very impressive game for a jam. Graphics, sound effect, overall gameplay, everything is well polished. Wow! I loved the details when a shelf is full and have to push the button for a new one too, that's the kind of stuff that make game really stand out.
love the art and the game is really smooth to play. for the player control having them in local space from the player and not the world would have been easier to navigate the warehouse. other than that it's a really nice game with lovely art.
Rainforest should do something about their terrible working conditions.
At first I wasn't sure what box went where, until I noticed their sizes.
Nice game. Frustrating at the end. My poor guy wasn't fast enough.
Well done :)
Really good animations and amazing graphics !
Good Job !
I wish I could see all the boxes at any given time, to prioritize movements. By the way, have you though of putting numbers (1, 2, 4) on top of the boxes? It looks like this could improve visibility of the boxes and clearly show their target shelf
I found it borderline implayable though, the controls are really rough, and the music quickly drove me mad. Maybe that's the point? ^^
I have rated your game, but all of my feedback was captured in the stream.
You can hear my comments in the archive at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/298329090
Great job!

I found it quite difficult though, how could anybody get >200 boxes, crazy ;p
Interesting concept and well executed, the gameplay works fine and it gives credits to the level design. Also, the scoreboard is a clever addition. The major con for me were the controls, I found them too hard to deal with, especially with harder difficulties. Neat entry.
Great job!
I think my only gripe would be that there isn't some sort of progression. Like say, more levels to unlock or a slight upgrade mechanic like getting a boost or larger cart with some sort of credits.
But hey, if my only complaint is that I want more of your game, I'd say that's pretty good!
Great job!
The art and the idea are both great. The programming was perfectly executed except for a some minor collider issues.
This game could be really fun in coop.
Nice work ^^
Feels like the boxes could have used more unique designs to read better, for example boxes of different colors, that corresponded with the color of the shelf that you need to take them to. As it is, you can definitely figure it out, but it doesn't really stick out to you. (I get the whole cardboard box aesthetic though)

I can't find a single negative aspect about this game. It's fun, it's hard, it's beautiful !
You have to anticipate, react quickly, plan in advance.
It's just great !
Well, if I search hard enough, I could tell that the fact you have to press two keys to get your character moving along a line isn't the most easy thing to get used to. Maybe letting the player choose whether they want to have their character moving according to the room axes or according to the screen would have been nice, but neither of this methods are that hard to learn.
And @lekkel124 wowww, I’m very impressed :)
By the way please feel free to leave us some feedbacks on our game!

The graphics are awesome! The gameplay is pretty interesting and polished but gets repetitive after a while, maybe add some power ups or upgrades to change it up a bit? The sounds sounded a bit weird but the music was fine
The main aesthetic is gorgeous and the background music is quiet - just what it is necessary for playing, but not too loud to oppress us. The gameplay is fun - unusual. maybe you could work a little bit more on the controls - I guess that your game could be better if you can smooth them. Overall, you did a great entry. Bravo ++
Even so the game has been made in 72 hours, it's already better than the most of mobile games (especially free games). I wish the best luck for you guys, keep making awesome stuff.
Really excellent polish overall. I'm super impressed by this for a 72-hour time limit. Your team worked very well together!
It took a bit to get used to the controls, possibly because it was a little tough to tell what my reach was.
Finishing a shelf and sending it off was surprisingly satisfying.
You guys should consider continuing development on this, it's potentially a really solid prototype for a larger-scope project along the lines of Overcooked.
