:bulb: Hints
- Find the bosses, they will spawn portals on death that takes you to the next galaxy.
- Read the dialogs for directions.
- There are two levels with different enemies, and an ending cut scene.
- Keep your self powered up at all times!
- Use Left Shift for speed boost! (But it drains more power.)
- (SPOILER) Level 1 boss/portal is to the North East.
- (SPOILER) Level 2 boss/portal is to the South East. It's a maze, so you will have to search for a path there.
:mousethreebutton: Controls
- WASD or Arrows to fly.
- Left Shift for speed boost!
- Mouse to aim & Left click to shoot.

Graphics, music and overall feel were good. Well done!
A few suggestions:
You could make the bars with the power, health and shields a lot smaller. Hitting enemies when they were in the lower left was really difficult.
I wasn't sure how I would get missiles sometimes and then have them disappear. Maybe a counter that says how many are left? A little number by the crosshairs would be easy to see and not visually distracting, since I was looking there anyway.
Bugs:
A couple of times my controls froze up. Not sure what happened or why they came back, but once was in the middle of a big fight.
Nothing to say about art, nor sound (except music is a little repetitive and fire shots a little loud, but, hey, that's a jam). I was a little confused with the not friendly ships, because I didn't understand what to do next, until I find other ones and they kill me, so I didn't see farther. For what I've seen, good job !
About controls freezing, this is an issue when playing in Chrome. Please try Firefox or download Windows version.
Likes:
- whoa, real music
- whoa, real 3d graphics
- ship movement, explosions, shields, weird aliens... it all looks sweet
- plays quite well, nicely done
Try differently:
- I can use my gamepad to fly, but not to aim. :( I can haz dual stick controls?
- why is there a wall in space, and it doesnt affect enemies nor projectiles
- I can click really fast on the mouse. That means I can shoot really fast (doesn't consume enough power?)
Overall:
- rock solid jam entry, well done
- I enjoyed playing this a lot
- music and sound makes games so much better
Good impression overall!
However, even if I've enjoyed the game and had fun, it was to many moments with nothing to do (there was nothing in the screen, i was just wasting power). However the combat was exciting, so great work and good luck!
I've seen some people asking for dual joystick gameplay, I join the suggestion!
Good game :)
The controls are great, as well as the art. I agree that this game really needs dual stick controls.
Nice work!
Liked the variety of weapons and enemies. Nice music. Good work!
The aliens are so amazing by graphic and also that the main aliens produce small aliens. So good idea!
I don't like the control of the ship. I would prefer if the control of arrows would be according to ship view and not according to space.
The game is really fun and I enjoyed the game. Great job!
It was a little hard knowing where to go, it took me some time to progress to next stage. Maybe a little indicator of where to go, other than the message to go to north east, would help this a bit, especially when getting to the next stage.
Other than that I liked the graphics, music and the whole atmosphere, nice work.
Good job! :D
***edit***
after scrolling past where you clearly state not to use it on chrome i tried again on firefox and had a much better experience and thus changed my rating. a few more things. some bullets move slower than the ships top speed, that's no fun. I felt more caged this time as I explored further would have liked a more open world. sometimes there was too many pickups floating around, then there would be nothing around. so it was kinda random what to expect. this is how i ran out of energy. The first boss wasn't very difficult, but it was the first boss. I didn't get to see if there was a second. I was impressed that the game held up with so much stuff floating around. seemed very well optimized. great work on a fun and very playable game!
I think it would've helped if
* there was some minimap or indicator showing us where to go
* there was a checkpoint system so players wouldn't have to start over when they lose
Other than that, great job on this entry!
Was also interesting being able to explore and find the boundaries and for hints to progress.
It's interesting that the standalone version plays so much better than the web somehow, glad I tried it afterwards.
