Here is some feedback:
* Took me a while to figure out that pressing down would make me move upwards
* Some of the platforms are really small and with the super fast moving enemies I couldn't make it past the 4th platform (after many attempts)
* I like the upgrades you've added but think 5 might be a tad to many - I was overwhelmed when I started the game
* I think slowing down the movement (player jump, enemy movement) would make it more fun
Good work in getting the game done in time!!
I should have read the comments though. Took quite some time to figure out the movement.
I will say though that starting out the game picking 5 different upgrades is a bit overwhelming. As a first-time player, since I didn't really know what the game looked like yet or how it controlled, all of my choices were made pretty arbitrarily. I wasn't given a chance to see my character's moveset evolved as I played, because I was learning everything for the first time. Perhaps having a tutorial level could help abate this frustration.
I will say that I did enjoy the silliness of this game though. :) The art style and sound effects really added to the charm (I don't know why everything is ducks, but I love it). Overall I'd say this was a pretty ambitious game, but you did an impressive job for developing it solo!
