On a pleasant summer day, in a sweet peaceful village, you are hosting a delightful little party for all your wonderful friends. Everything has to be perfect! After all, the vicar is coming. But, oh, dear, Cecily is bound to bring up her political views. And Uncle Nigel is so fond of talking about his colonoscopy. You must keep the conversation proper. By force, if necessary.

Controls: Arrow keys, space bar.

Mechanics are simple but the game is fun. You have to be aware of all the guests and be fast moving them. Nice job.

Original idea, I like it.
Nicely made, plays well.
The controls match the art style. Sometimes feels like your movement is a bit blocky/rigid, but then again everything is blocky. So that's no major issue. Good job on this.

This gotta be one the most original games I've tried this LD. Congrats !

Fun concept! The mechanics were simple and worked well with the narrative and I thought the graphics fit the tone of the game as well. Charming! :speaking_head:

Certainly one of the most unique games I've played from Ludum Dare! I really like the combination of looking carefully for disappointed guests and running around, balancing them between tables. The music is also really nice! My only downside of this game is that in one of the levels (the third or the fourth one I think?) you get mobbed by two or three geese at once, which can be a bit frustrating :P

**Keep up the good work!**

Very creative! Couldn't find out how to beat level 2 already, though. Somehow the winning condition was too obscure for me...

Hehe, a very funny and unique concept, and a pretty out of the box interpretation of the theme. I don't think I have much constructive criticism on this game, it is very well made. The only thing I would mention is that in a few levels the ducks, geese, or whatever they are spawn at the same point as the player and end up blocking movement for a while right off the bat. I got two failures off the bat before I could even really move.

Smart, original, nice mood.
It gets repetitive quite clickly but for a ludum dare game this is not a big deal. It just needs one or two extra mechanics to add variety and tactics (a psychology characteristic for the guests instead of random (or is it pure random conversations ?))

Yaay!! Simple and fun mechanics! My only complaint would be that I didn't feel that the difficulty increased with the levels, the more tables the easier it was to manage the people!!

Also, The art is wonderful and the music is great!! Contratulations!

Keep up the good work!! :)

This is really awesome! I didn't read any of your description before playing, and everything was totally intuitive anyway. I really love the idea, execution, and the look and sound mesh really well with the theme and mechanics. Great work!

Awesome game! Really original idea, controls, and gameplay are intuitive so you can immediately jump into a game, I love the way that lady handles guests xD, style of the game is very nice and music is well fitting. Great entry.

I was very hard and slow to play on my laptop. The game looks unique and beautiful. It looks like an early 1900 painting. Well done!

The only thing that I can really say something negative about your game is these chickens. Seriously, they feel like they were made only to frustrate the player.

I really enjoyed this and it is very well put together. Great music, lovely graphics, very funny. The chickens though! I can see why you added them, but given the limited space you can move in and the fact they can roam anywhere on screen and after dizzying the player, stay in the area they were in (meaning they will likely repeatedly dizzy the player) makes them a very irritating obstacle. Perhaps after dizzying the player they can run off in a random direction, to lesson the chance of an irritation loop? Great work, though.
