This project is our first attpempt to do a grid-based game. In 2 days we managed to do a generataion system to create different levels in a 10x10 area. We made a couple of different mechanics and a few levels. The objective was to make a prototype that could be expanded in almost infinites directions.

This is overall a simple and fun little puzzle game. I am not sure I do understand all the game mechanics in this game, because I reach a level were I just died without a clear reason why. Is there a limit for how long I can go? Overall a fine little LD game.

Yes @jk5000, there is a limit of movements of 15. It is not very clear since the game doesn't show you the counter of movements left (we thought this would add some difficulty to the game). But it is indicated in the first level when you are being told the movement controlls. We will try to make things clear in the next one.

Thank you for playing!

Nice little game but too short. Only 3 three levels ! (Joking)

Welp @cevantime, you are right. We spent too much time on the optimization of our own level creation system that we didn't have time nor energy to spent on more and deep level design.

Thank you for playing!

The particle effect is nice but it should already be all the way down when you enter the room. I like that you have an ingame tutorial, an explanation of the floor tiles would be good though. Also the game is missing some background music. I like the idea of your game but right now I don't feel like I'm sacrificing something because I didn't notice any negative effects of splitting the slime. And it's werid that there is a delay between your moves. The slime is cute^^

Hey @fluffi!

The delay had the intention to wait for the animations of the slime, but as you had already seen we couldn't add them to the game on time. We probably should have removed it.

Although, thank you for your feedback! We will have all those details in mind for the next project.

I like the idea, it's easy to play and fun. Can become addictive. The audio is a bit too sharp, but it's okay.

Awesome idea and nice, although easy, levels. Probably would be nice to have some "negative" sound to blue tile, to give the player a feel that he is sacrificing something important

I'm afraid I miss a movement counter, but good job.

Good game. I wish there was a move counter and that the number of moves played a larger role in the puzzles (currently it only seems to matter in the final level). The clone mechanic is interesting, though perhaps a bit limiting in terms of level design in its current state. It might allow for more interesting and diverse levels if there was a way to create more clones. For instance, there could be green tiles that make a slime full size and allow it to make another clone.
