Description
This game takes place in ancient Greece. You embody Zeus, the supreme god, and you must keep an eye on your temples.
An ordinary day, while everything seems peaceful, malicious creatures come in order to attack one of these beautiful buildings. Armed with your lightnings, exterminate these villains before they destroy everything in their path ! Without the faith of humans, what could you do ? Nothing ! During praying time, grab onto your cloud and go directly above the temple in order to recharge your stock of lightnings ! The more you neutralize the threat, the more it will mutiply ! So, be on your guard !
Deus Lightning Force pays tribute to the famous arcade games of the 80's.

Like the floatiness of the controls. I like my full-speed from the side lightning strike to kill like 4 foes.
But I guess that is intended because the game is tough as nails. Really not the easiest to "beat"!
Is there an end? Because then I did not make it through.
But I think it wold be better if you make other enemies bee more harder to die. The golum for exemple, could have more life to make it harde to die.
The speed of zeus is part of the challenge to grab the light ray. So it was deliberate but i must confess that it was hard to calibrate it so it is maybe a little bit too hard.
@jannes-nagel Unfortunately, there is no end, the only goal is to beat his best score, to respect old school arcade games principle.
@pixelproductions I agree with you, the fact of adding more enemies more harder to die is a good idea. We maybe add it, thanks a lot for your idea.
Thank you so much for your feedback.
It was a bit weird that the lighting followed you after you threw it, and it also allowed you to clear half the screen with just one ray - not sure if that's intended or not, but i think it is because otherwise the game would be way harder.
I had to disable the CRT effect, it looked very weird on my screen :(

I liked the story of the game, I think it was an original take on the ld's theme. The enemies were pretty cool, tho i only saw until the floating eye - not sure if there's more after them. However all of them died in 1 hit, so there's little difference.

Ah oui, et bien joué aussi, parce que si on est français, ça fait plaisir de voir du français dans les commentaires xD Et puis je me sens moins seul x)
It took me some time to understand that prayer time is every 30 seconds at 0:20 and lasts for 10 seconds. If you are going to show the time ingame, you might es well give some sort of warning when prayer time is going to happen.
@zyxer Effectively, we should have warned the player of prayer time. In the beginning,we wanted to create a sort of day cycle with precise prayer time but we didn't have so much time unfortunately.
Thanks for your feedback !
@jaimuepe Don't worry about the problem with your comments. There are only 3 kind of enemies : snake, minotaur and eye. So you've seen them all :) ! With regard to lightnings, we decided to let them follow Zeus because we thought it would be easier to play. Unfortunately the CRT effect is not adjust for all screen size, this is why we had the P key in order to disable this effect. Thanks for your feedback :) !
