Vegicide by Reactor-Scram

Venus Von Trapp must overthrow the PumpKing! Help her kill all the other plants in the small veggie world!
* The HTML5 build is not fullspeed on some phones, requires keyboard, and the BGM doesn't load right away and the pounce graphic is wrong - But it is playable!

Controls:
Use any of WASD, IJKL, or arrow keys to walk.
Hold down left or right Ctrl to charge up energy. Then hold a direction and let go to pounce, damaging any enemy you land on.
Debugging
If something goes wrong, back up your key_log.txt file and email it to me. This file records game input. Vegicide never reads nor transmits the file, and it does not contain any identifiable information, only "left arrow up" and "pounce key down"-like events.
Run "DemoReplay" to see a pre-recorded demo. If this demo defeats the pumpking, then your game should work. However, the intricate plot will be spoiled.

Edit to add: The HTML5 port is live
Nice character art, the background felt a little bland. The fences that prevent you from jumping to places could stand apart from the background more. The music sets a nice tone, and the sound effects are pretty good too.
This has potential, hope you continue with it!
The level was also really well made, too.
Chalk that up to "it worked fine in my browser" and this being my second browser game.
I patched it so Shift and Space can sub for Ctrl, and updated the page. My bad
PS. what happened to my username in your reply lol
That's another bug, the pumpking is the final boss and on web it doesn't show the victory screen.
It'd be cool to see a version of thing with more levels, different attacks (or possibly different characters, each of whom has a unique attack), etc.
