It is good start for a interactive story. The art and music is really good in this game. I would really have liked to see more of the story, and the fighting system could have been more interesting. I hope you keep working on the game. What you have made until now is well done.

Really cute art and interesting premise! I also liked the diversity of the characters, even though the world is indeed small I had a instant feeling of being part of the town and wanting to know more about its inhabitants!
Another thing, and it might be a detail, but I loved the way the small planet is zoomed in at the beginning!
Great game, good job to you all!

Pretty game! I really liked the initial zoom and the variety of the environment. Looks like a small planet, but once you travel around it a bit..it is not that small! The music is nice but a bit repetitive after a while. I love the black and while art but the whole game looks a bit too static: I would add some animation and new ways of interaction. You did a good job!

Interesting art style, looked like it took a lot of time to create the drawings. Really nice job!

The Linux version does not work for me – the "start" button doesn't do anything. :(

@blinry Hmmm I had the same problem very sporadically - might be a Unity bug (game was developed on Linux). When I start it in Windowed mode and that seemed to work. I'll add a note.

Looks really cute, like right out of a coloring book. Only complaint I have is the walking speed which made the whole thing kind of tedious.

I liked it so much! The music and drawings are very cute. I played till the end and wished to play further. Good luck with working on it, it would be great to play the full version! By the way, our game is also a drawn game :)

@rustybroomhandle: Yeah, that helped, thanks!

I now played through the game, and enjoyed it quite much! Felt very relaxing to walk around and listen to the sweet music! I would liked to press left/right/space to push the buttons, though! A lot of story, maybe a little too much text per box. I cracked myself up at the names, hahaha! :D Good job!

When entering a cave/the tree/etc., it felt wrong that it was *straight*! :P And I also enjoyed the detailed ending screen! :P

Actually, I rather like the font – can you tell me which one you were using?

@blinry The font is called Action Man - incidentally the same font used in our game on Steam, The Maker's Eden. We meant to replace it with another font, but kinda ran out of time.

The intro is fantastic where you see the depth of art of the small world as you zoom in. The layered handdrawn art is a fantastic touch. The walking speed starts to grate on the nerves after awhile when you've passed the same thing several times and you just want to go faster, maybe a simple speedup button. Really impressed with the amount of content you were able to implement in the time period. The music doesn't match the feel of the planet and starts to get really competitive because the background piano never changes - maybe something more fantasy oriented instead of light-hearted?

I really dig the style, I like how you managed to add a lot of art and story and tie them together, you did a lot in a short time. I'd love to see the rest and talk to the rest of the weird residence.

There are some places where the layer order is wrong, like in the underwater ground, or when passing over the hole in the sand, but nothing major.
The way you made the plot so you get so go and talk to each person to go on is a good idea, it works well and keeps it interesting.

overall, it was fun playing, great work!

This game style is amazing and music is quite fitting although a bit annoying after 10 minutes :P, I love the story and the atmosphere of the game. I like that you can feel like this is the actual world because the scenery is not repetitive and the surroundings are different and original. Great entry!

Awesome little world, I liked to travel and study it.
It's good that you did not just show your strength and created an artwork.

Okay, let's start with good things:
* I liked the graphics.
* I liked how diverse the world was.
* I kinda liked the story.

But, what's matters more for the improvement is specifying what was done badly.
* The animation of walking between two points of interest was awfully long, which was hellish to somebody impatient like me.
* The story progression triggers are a bit wonky - I could talk to that blacksmith about glyphs and cave BEFORE being told to search for the glyphs by that giant bird.
* The music was kinda annoying to listen to after few loops.
