Another thing, and it might be a detail, but I loved the way the small planet is zoomed in at the beginning!
Great game, good job to you all!
I now played through the game, and enjoyed it quite much! Felt very relaxing to walk around and listen to the sweet music! I would liked to press left/right/space to push the buttons, though! A lot of story, maybe a little too much text per box. I cracked myself up at the names, hahaha! :D Good job!
When entering a cave/the tree/etc., it felt wrong that it was *straight*! :P And I also enjoyed the detailed ending screen! :P
Actually, I rather like the font – can you tell me which one you were using?
There are some places where the layer order is wrong, like in the underwater ground, or when passing over the hole in the sand, but nothing major.
The way you made the plot so you get so go and talk to each person to go on is a good idea, it works well and keeps it interesting.
overall, it was fun playing, great work!
It's good that you did not just show your strength and created an artwork.
* I liked the graphics.
* I liked how diverse the world was.
* I kinda liked the story.
But, what's matters more for the improvement is specifying what was done badly.
* The animation of walking between two points of interest was awfully long, which was hellish to somebody impatient like me.
* The story progression triggers are a bit wonky - I could talk to that blacksmith about glyphs and cave BEFORE being told to search for the glyphs by that giant bird.
* The music was kinda annoying to listen to after few loops.
