Match Attack! by LatchGameDev
Are you ready!? In this game you will become Fred! A weird tentacle monster because I gave my artist absolutely zero character direction! You will use your unholy arcane powers to fire UNLIMITED MISSILES! Those waves of enemies won't stand a chance! But what could they possible want? What does Fred possible have hidden in his slimy, very flexible hand tentacle thingies?

RULES:
When an enemy is killed their color is dropped on to the tile below them. Get 4 tiles of the same color in a line and that will make a match! You will lose a heart if an enemy touches you.
CONTROLS:
- WASD > Move Character
- Mouse > Look Around
- Left Click > Shoot
- ESC > Exit Full Screen
WARNING! Must be in full screen mode for mouse to work properly with character.

It was pretty fun! I was surprised by how long I ended up playing it. I would suggest changing the difficulty to scale instead though. Because currently it takes a while for you to get your bearings in this game. Slowly increasing spawn rates and maybe playing a sound when an enemy spawns.

I think you really hit the theme here. A match 3 with a 3rd person shooting elements? That's creative! The enemies are a little tough to predict, but overall I had fun playing!

@Procrastinaaaa Glad you had fun :) Yeah progression/difficulty increase is something my jam games lack. I'm thinking about turning this project in to a full steam game after working on it for a few more months.

Very fun! Give your sister props for Fred :) I liked the concept and the controls were very fun once you got used to them. Very cool.

Cool graphics and sound ! Simple yet efficient. And fits the theme perfectly. I guess guiding the player through a difficulty curve would be next ? I don't see any problem to be honest, it's a nice jam game. Well done !
