32 : P !

Nice little game, It feels clean, quite complete and fun.
I had kind of an hard time understanding how to drop the abducted though, maybe because the "hole" is a little bit ahead from the place it seems that you can drop them, it feels like you can only crush them on the ground.
But anyway it's a good work !

quite fun little game, liked the chip tune version of mad world on the title screen

Pretty easy to abduct people and cow because they come a lot faster than the cars. The biggest difficulty was to avoid the urge to explode everything =D.

Fun game and nice job, hope you guys had fun making it.

Nice game, I like it. It could be polished a little bit more: when people and cows are dropped down in Area 51 from height, they are exploding.
You could also add some penalties for unnecessary deaths.

Would like to play post-jam version.

Fun game! I really dig the sprite scaling and physics of the game, as well as the camera zooming in effect.

It would definitely benefit from some sort of timer to force the player to move faster, as well as a more constant threat to make it a bit more hectic.

HaHa really funny game! The sound effects complement the game very well. Really enjoyed it. The pixel art is also kinda cute. Great job guys!!!

Couldn't land the bloody space ship, if you're meant to, so my score was a constant 0, but that aside it was a good game, first run I learned the hard way that cars and spaceships don't mix. Great game, nice art. Keep up the good work

Couldn't quite figure out how to release the abductees into Area 51.

I liked the round world, and good feeling moving around. Maybe a bit easy to avoid getting hit by cars after trying for a short while.

Really fun mechanic smooth controls. My only complaint is that all the assets are sized differently, Like the Mountains have less resolution but are bigger than the city for example. If you get a chance please check out our game https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/down-the-rabbit-hole

Wow, this is pretty much the exact same concept as the second game I ever made, felt weird playing a very similar version of something I had spent months of my life working on, so perhaps I'm incredibly biased when I say I liked this game. The graphics were cute, and there's plenty of humour in picking up and dropping exploding cars onto the people and cows below. Could have used some music as it felt rather quiet, however for something made in three days I can forgive it for not having any. A really great entry.

Very cool.... but of course anything that uses that day-of-the-tentacle-style lucasarts font is OK by me.

Really, though, very fun and original idea, with neat controls.

Couldn't really figure out how to release the abducted but other than that it was pretty interesting concept. The controls were a bit hard to control but it might just be because of my lack of skill. Fun game, nice graphics and effects. Well done!

EDIT: I did it! I figured out how to release them! I didn't get that many points though... :D

Very fun! I love the art and pixel explosions. Mechanics felt really polished and control was crisp. One thing I wish was that there was some reason to change elevation like maybe dodging fighter jets that are trying to shoot you down. Over all it is an awesome chill game! Fantastic Job!

Very fun game, once I figured out how to lower the abductees without killing them the tanks scared the crap outta me lol. SFX are great too. great game

Great game. I think I did not quite get the scoring part. The art is great and its very funny to see all the people/car crash on the ground. Good job!

Fun idea. It felt really easy at first (at least after I realized how to actually release my abductees), but the tanks instantly killed me. I still haven't figured out how to stay alive after dropping off the first few cows.

I like the concept and the graphics, as well as the tractor beam sound.

Nice little game! My game actually crashed haha... (I abducted like 20? and then put them into the silo, and then a bazillion tanks appeared and fired and froze the whole thing)
I liked the sound effects! For some reason the music randomly cut off and stopped playing, which left it a bit empty. Also I think the game is a bit exploitable in the sense that you can just keep abducting infinitely, and then place them all into the silo at once and get heaps and heaps of points, and the tanks only appear afterwards.

Anyway, a lot of fun (until it froze), and a unique, well-executed idea. Good job! :)

Please do check out my game as well if you have time! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/no-minor-task-party-of-a-lifetime

Great game ! The art style was nice, abducting cows was particulary satisfying for some reasons x)
I had some trouble at first understanding how to drop the abducted people in the silo, maybe a different input could have been useful.
The beam physic was really great, and just moving around cars, people and cows was really fun

I had the same issue than above, with a crash after dropping 70 guys, the army seemed to be really pissed off with me ;)

Anyway, good entry ! I had fun playing it :)

Cool game, I had a lot of fun even if the gameplay become a bit repetitive. It's a cool concept ( not exactly original, but still) that deserve to be more explored in different way, maybe with a more interesting map ?

Good job anyway !

I like the art, especially the title screen and the UFO animation.

I had trouble figuring out what to do... every time I tried to drop anything into the silo, it died, so I never got my score above zero.

Nice little game which offers quite some fun. I didn't really figure out how to drop the people into the damn hole, not sure if possible at all though. Crashing about 100 people onto Area 51 was quite satisfying though

The graphics are really pretty and the music/sound is quite good as well, though the initial tune stopped playing after some time in the game. Game got really slow sometimes over Area 51 but I attribute this to poor graphics card in my laptop.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks again for the feedback everyone and yes to lower the people you have to hold space. Defo should of explained this as it seems to be confusing a lot of people. :/

Lol loved the little 'mad world' retro version!

Had too much fun dropping cars from a great height..and cows :D

Nice little mechanic that's a lot of fun to play. Loved the visual style, and little bits of polish that added to the feel (like zooming in when moving down).

Fantastic! Good job.
