Story

Congratulations on opening your very own WizCorp franchise, $VALUEDINVESTORNAME!

You're on your way to supplementing your income by leveraging WizCorp's patented, paradigm-shifting supply-chain management process for producing magically-charged aetheric artifacts--the essential tool for almost every sorcerous industry in today's fast-paced fantasy world.

MINE the aetherium ore from the ground, PROCESS it into aetherium crystal, CRAFT it into aetheric devices, and SELL them for a tidy profit.

Of course, you can't do it alone. For a nominal fee, WizCorp can help you HIRE and seamlessly integrate human resources into your business process.

CAUTION: Thoroughly peer-reviewed and replicated scientific studies suggest that without proper STORAGE, amassing large quantities of aetherium may cause significant time dilation effects. WizCorp challenges the veracity of these controversial claims.

Concept

WizCorp is an "idle clicker" game where you are producing and converting resources to score points, which can then be spent on upgrades.

If you let resources build up past a certain point, however, your "auto-clickers" will process less often. Note that upgrades later in the chain are less efficient than upgrades earlier in the chain.

Fun little clicker, good job. I like the pixel art.

Fun little game. But there doesn't seem to be any win/lose conditions?

Nice simulation game! This reminds me of the push/pull processes that I learned about in my Industrial Engineering lean manufacturing classes. I got to 100M coins, and then everything seemed maxed out. I liked the different colored bars, and the challenge of keeping everything balanced. It seemed like 20 minutes flew by in no time as I was playing the game. The animations of the worker characters were really cute as well.

@McFish: it's an "idle clicker," so there's really none (although I did consider making a "lose" condition at one point by making crystals the upgrade currency). Admittedly, it doesn't take long to run out of meaningful upgrades.

I like the little sprite animations and the way the upgrade menus pull out. Although there is no win condition, I find myself compelled to produce more coin. Nicely done.

Looks nice, although I wish the guys were easier to count/not randomly placed. Gets boring pretty quick, but I'm not a huge fan of clickers. A win/lose condition would have been nice. E.g. make X gold or achieve Y throughput.

My only complaint was that there wasn't more! I played until I maxed everything out and found that there was nothing left to do. Very satisfying to upgrade storage and watch the numbers ramp up. The art and little guys were very well done, but it would have been nice to have more contrast between the guys and the ground.
