This game makes you fight against your gamer instincts. It's hard and fun.
Also sometimes when I picked up a coin it would count as 7 or 8 (for some reason)
"Screw this dev nobody tells me how greedy I can be"
->Misses next jump and dies
I feel like this will be a recurring theme for my experience in this ludum dare.
Anyways, clever use of the theme. That intro was awesome, but I think it would've been funnier with some of those over-the-top cinematic bass booms :P
I especially like the particles on the coins, to make them that much more enticing. :D
Some other recommendations:
Give players a button to return to the main menu
Let players skip the text on launch instead of having to sit through it after relaunching the game
Raise the killzone, as the player currently falls for far too long.
