You are the Block Lord, Perfect and 32, yet these stupid horn-blowing Crusaders can't seem to understand that you are not to be trifled with. Trifle back!

As ever, I wanted to take my love for shooty gameplay and tie it into other genres, this time I picked the arcade classic Rampart. Fight some monsters, build up a base, fight more, build more, wave after wave. The enemy growth and player piece variety feed in at a pretty solid rate, teaching you little bits of gameplay as you move along. In the end I cut out all but the most basic shapes, as the near-misses from cleverly shaped pieces just ended up feeling bad.
