My Little Planet by Bjarnovikus

[raw]
made by Bjarnovikus for LD34 (COMPO)
Grow your own planet!

You are in control of a planet. The only controls you have is to expand the planet. Expand too quickly and the population might increase drastically, with all due problems. Expand too slowly and their might just not be enough resources left for the population to survive.

Controls: Mouse (keyboard for naming your planet)

Very nice interpretation of the grow theme. Cool concept and challenging as well. Good work

This is pretty cool! I was super bad at the game and could only get to around 17 years. But solid job and very impressive.

Sweet game! As it ticks so quickly it's hard to have time to read through what materials increases what bacteria. It's a lot of fun and I hope the game does good in the rankings!

I like the game's concept, though I would have enjoyed it more if the years passed slower or I could somehow control the speed. Also, I know you opted out of audio, but the sound that occurs when you click a menu item is -painful-, it'd be better not to have it at all in my opinion. My ears are sensitive though, so it's possible it's just me. Anyway, good job.

I liked the idea, even though I thought it's a little complex to have so many factors to pay attention to, but then again I was happy about the mouseovers :D
