Dimitri's Revenge by 1y1e

A remix of "Snake", with a focus on shrinking playable area.
This world is impure, and you are the cause. Press WASD/arrow keys to move. When you step on a tile, it will become temporarily poisoned. If a small group of tiles get cut off by poison, they will become incurably infected.
You can't move over red infected tiles. Purple poisoned tiles will kill you.
Collect antidotes to progress. Move with intention. Good luck.

As a professional game dev I would suggest... just kidding haha
Nonetheless, if you want to work on this project more I suggest making a difficulty incresing algorithm.
Graphics - very nice. Controls are also working very well.
Maybe you could also take a glimpse at my game? I already enlarged it into a wholesome Android game :)
It was a bit strange that the snake would stop at walls and stop before red but wouldn't stop before hitting purple. Seemed inconsistent.
For this type of game an input buffer of 2 is really helpful to allow the player to make rapid turns without having to try and time it based on the movement speed of the snake. It improves the feeling of being in control of your snake.
Love the art, the smoothness of the animation and the level design
