Toy Hero! by miKuZune

[raw]
made by miKuZune for LD 40 (JAM)

You play as a robot toy. A hero to all the other toys. It is your job to protect all the other toys from the crazy mum who keeps cleaning them away and buying more.

To do this you must hide all the toys in places mum won't find them. However this won't stop your child from playing with them all! The more you save each night the more you will have to save the next night.

Good luck!

Really fun concept! It took me a while to find out you can also use your mouse to aim . Maybe consider putting this in the tutorial to?
Great work!

Yeah, I had a updated version where the tutorial explained more things like how to jump and sprint. But unity bugged out and deleted a bunch of stuff :( . Lucky I made this build before that, but I can't make any further changes now. Thanks for playing though!

First of all, thanks for trying my game, the scores only update on certain browsers (Chrome), I removed them then added them back, it's not in my ability to fix it. Anyway you game was really fun concept, I think it could have a little more to it (music wise and content wise), but I don't know what it's like to do a 3D game. I enjoyed trying to get more toys saved and always ended missing one or two. Good fun, Good luck!

Thank's for playing man. The music is definitely something to work on (I threw it together in an hour and a half having never made audio for games, and having not used music software in 2 years ish). Thanks for the advice though. If I were to spend more time on it I think I would add some pickups to increase stuff like move speed and add more character to the toys (letter's on the blocks and making the teeth chatter for example), to give it more content.

neat and fun little game, controls work nicely and design of the room and object are also neat. lets just say that the music was interesting

The concept is solid - I would like to see it explored further. Maybe some physics or bonuses for getting the toys into harder-to-reach places. Maybe certain toys need to go in certain places. The music is grating, unfortunately, but kudos for picking up the skill and keep working on it.
