I was interested to see why you were asking me to choose an image, then I was really surprised to see what the game was using it for. Quite an interesting idea this and it even works.\n\nThe shotgun is very inconsistent for some reason though. At times the images take a single shot to shatter. Other times good 5+ hits. Seems to have something to do with distance and whether the image has been activated yet or not. \n\nGood work.","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"CliffracerX","author_uid":"1000563","time":"2017-08-08T05:03:45Z","epoch":1502168625,"modified":1502168625,"text":"TIL: I'm TERRIBLE at Wolfenstein-style level design. It took me quite a bit before I made a level I could actually beat, but I had fun dying repeatedly.\n\nIt's actually a little unsettling running from Images because there's usually a chorus of the weird wibbly-wobbly-Imagey noise from all around and I can never tell if there's one creeping up from behind.\n\nThis is shockingly complex and shockingly fun. I approve.","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"Skosnowich","author_uid":"1000316","time":"2017-08-12T09:46:51Z","epoch":1502531211,"modified":1502531211,"text":"Nice idea here! It's quite impressive. Each mode is quite simple, but meshed together, creates a really unique and fun experience. Seeing how the level generated the first time you press fire was quite cool.\n\nThe main problem is the disconnect between the mini game generating the level, and the actual fps game-play. The Qix side of things should have more of an effect on how the game plays out. For example, trapping the ball in as small of a space as possible should lead to some sort of benefit or reward. Additional mechanics would have helped too, such as having spots on the board that you might want to avoid filling in, which would lead to additional enemies or traps in the level.\n\nAs of right now, it just seems like a sort of gimmicky level editor, where the Qix and the FPS mode don't really mesh or connect together. Which is a shame, since it's a great idea.\n\nOverall, A solid entry! The entry has great promise, and I'd love to see it as a more fleshed out game! When it said I could press the fire button to start the level, I didn't really understand why the choice was given to me\n- It was an unintuitive start having to enter an address for an image with no Browse... window. Ended up alt-tabbing to copy paste something from a browser. Would have been good to include a bunch of images in the game to avoid the slow start.\n\nOverall though - really interesting, good job :)","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"Neon","author_uid":"1000230","time":"2017-08-17T02:01:32Z","epoch":1502935292,"modified":1502935292,"text":"Really cool game!
