Beyond that, I'm not big on visual novels and I gotta say [though you SPECIFICALLY ask not to comment on that it's the elephant in the room sooo sue me], I find it's a bit of a shame you decided do stay in your comfort zone on this one - you know how to make pretty decent Visual Novels, anyone can tell, and that's pretty cool - but the point of a Game Jam is SPECIFICALLY to put yourself in a situation where you'll find yourself out of your depth [see what I did there haha I like jokes] so you get to learn how to deal with this there and then... so that's what I gotta say. Who knows what you'll come up with next time?
