A short explication of the controls in the page would've been nice. Your photoshop skills could also be improved a bit ;) The sound effects were funny.

@maximelore Graphics definitely aren't my good side, yea recording sfx gave me so much fun.

I liked the sound effects a lot. But the game was a bit unclear. Thanks to your description of the game before downloading it I understood that you should eat fruit, but since you can't reach the fruit on the top of the screen and since you get game over from being too fat so fast, I started doubting this description. The game is really cute however and I like the little game icon :)

The sound effects are nice, but you can put a tutorial on. Aside of that great job!

So you lose weight by eating the fruit, and if you don't eat the fruit you grow and eventually burst? Nice sound effects and humorous take one the theme.

Nice music and sound effects. The gameplay would need more variation, since skill doesn't matter that much. Best tactic seems to be to let him run in one direction and turn the screen, when he reaches the edge. This nets around 1000 points, which is 100 more than playing "normally". Maybe making the map bigger would help to give the player optimization choices.
I played the web version and there seems to be a sound glitch, when you switch tabs, because he starts to play a sound effect repeatedly.

I really loved the menu music. The graphics could be better, but is a great job for a game that you did completely alone.

Great game! I love the concept and the graphic of the fruits. The sound effects are good aswell. Pretty good overall n.n

Interesting concept. Though, I was a bit confused about the controls as I got to run left and right as well as rotate the whole level as well as gravity that seems to push me to the bottom of the game area. That said, it IS a fat guy's dream so who am I to say what's right and what's weird. Good job!

Good Gaming Idea, Music needs to be improved Graphics good

Nice game, I liked the concept, it has a goofy atmosphere, absolutely cool. The gameplay is simple, yet fun I found myself chasing my record over and over again.

The graphics could have been a bit more polished, but awesome game anyways! ^_^

The way the player moves is very unique but a little bit confusing, you should have add a little animation to make it more clear. And it took me some time to understand that I had to eat in order to not not be fat. Anyway this is a good entry.

I also found the strategy of running one direction and rotating the world to earn me the most points. Nice clean graphics. I wanted an indicator of when I was almost too fat, the game felt like it abruptly ended for me. Good innovative way to move, crazy dream!

In the end, a pretty decent game! There wasn't much to it, but the concept was unique and creative, despite the execution not being incredible. I had a little bit of fun with it, but it was confusing at first. Overall, good job!

I actually like the game :) It's really funny and I really loved the music!

I had fun with this! To make it more satisfying, you could consider making the map not snap instantly, but instead rotate gradually. (I was missing some feedback when I rotated the map)

funny and simple game. It shows what you can do with couple of sprites. You put some mind into it, you might want to think how you can take this to the next level ( bit more challenging)

It's a bit rushed but you get your point acrossed, was a bit weird to rotate the map with arrow key (because i didn't understand the reason of it). Great chara design though !

Get 1170 points, its pretty fun actually. I think the rotation is very abrupt and I lost track of the control, I was basically monkey pressing the keys at one point because I don't know if left is still left. Even though later on I found out that the control is the same, left is still left, it is hard to tell my brain that the room is rotated but left is still left. Basically by rotating the room, you break the illusion that it was a room but it is a space, because after several rotations, I have no idea where is the floor and where is the ceiling, which by itself doesnt really matter anymore haha. Again, thats not to say your game is not fun, I enjoyed it a lot and I think there is a lot you could add on top of that. Great job!

Btw voice acting is awesome!

Got 1420 :) I guess if the background had more details it could be easier to see the rotation. And as someone also suggested, it will be cool to have a tweening when doing the rotation, it'd smooth the whole.

I didn't immediately understood feature with rotation but then I read description =) Interesting idea.

It's a fun game, at first I was a bit confused about how to get the fruit on the top and then I found the use of arrow keys. It would be better if the screen is rotating smoothly when we press arrow keys.

I did not see the theme come back in this game, you grow fatter and larger yes, but I do not see how to fits literately or figuratively in running out of space. The controls are "ok" they fulfill their purpose. The map rotation is a bit disorienting, a smoother rotation would fix this. Lastly is the game mechanic easy exploitable by holding any running direction and spamming map rotate.
To give the player a more grounded feel, create floor, walls and a ceiling, when the map rotates, the player won't have such a "floaty" experience.

Take those points in mind for your next game and it will definitely be an improvement!

Also, I have found several "ghost" accounts with lazy empty submissions that refer to this submission page. It is not cool at all to crowd the jam with spoof accounts to get more exposure for your game. Every one has worked hard on their projects and every deserves a spot and a chance.

Thanks to the description I was able to figure out the controls. Sound effects were pretty good, as well as music. It's pretty fun, but there is definitely a ton that can be added to make it even better
