Description
Being the gravekeeper of the Dead's Town graveyard isn't easy. Suffering of an epidemic disease that turns its citizens into zombies, people started to casually throw bodies in the graveyard. And now it is running out of graves!

I see a lot of good things here and some small stuff that would improve them game big time.

1. Make movement fun, I know this is a strange concept but adding some acceleration while moving without impeeded when I am not pulling a body makes menuvering interesting. The character should be inharently faster also. You can counter balance that by having the implication and showing of being slower when dragging a body.

2. Show a key, even small when i approach a body so that I know what to interact with. If possible, when you have contextual interactions always show this. If you want to get fancy, do it until the player has performed the actions X number of times that game session as you can assume they know what they are doing at that point. Also when you get close enough to interact with it, highting it in some way helps me know exactly what I will interact with.

3. Just for funny, I think how you get them into the grave should be shove smacking them into it, but that's just personal prefernce. You may get a lot by needing to throw them or something wwhere you need to move wind up. I feel like there are a lot of mechanics here, which are deployed solidly, and the standard feedback you need for them in place. But I suggest trying to think how to take the most common and minimal actions and making htem as fun and interesting as possible. Everything else builds on that foundation.

Slowly started filling it up and the more zombies, ahhhhHH!!!!!!
The idea is sound and the development is awsome for the amount of time we all had. Looks great and could use more polish.

- I agree with @cranestyle above in that the movement could be more fun and having a bit of acceleration to the character. Things feel very uniform right now but not at all bad for a submission.
- I think there could be some urgency earlier on since it feels very slow and you have more time to bury bodies. It doesn't pick up until later.

Overall great execution on this game, it looks great!!!! :) :) :v:

Nice game. Though not sure I understood what is the point of dumping the bodies into graves as they still get zombified.

Loved the animation of throwing a body over a fence when it spawned.
And the game over state is also fun

The game feels pretty polished for something done in a few days. The theme is deliciously morbid, and the graphics are nice and consistent. The gameplay is a little bit slow for my tastes, but that's just a nitpick.

I didn't realize at first that you had to bury the bodies, so I just kept throwing them down the graves. Didn't really work out.

- PROS: The graphics are really cool and the gameplay is fun. What I loved the most though, was the music. I assume you didn't allow voting on sound because it wasn't your music. Doesn't matter, it fits well and it makes it more fun.

- CONS: Zombies attack you only when you are near them. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it was very easy for me to avoid them in early stages.

Thank you everyone for the feedbacks.

@cranestyle I'll look into it in the future. However, character is a little slower when holding a body, but yeah, it isn't really noticeable or impacting.

@hi-irie Yeah, it was a little too hard to find a good balance between early, mid and late game. Maybe I should look more into it.

@hilvon You should hold the Action button till the end for it to finish burying the zombie.

@donitz We failed at explaining that you have to hold the space bar for a while, added this info to the Commands section, hope its enough.

@iluvatar @henrius, the artist, chose those music clips. I was aiming at a more serious tone for it, but thought it would fit better when he showed me those ones.

I liked this concept, it has a lot of potential. The art style was nice with a very retro feel but I feel the floor was a lot more polished than the graves and characters. And there's a lot of potential to make different layouts of graveyards and types of graves and zombies! One thing I didn't like was the controls, I felt my character was way too slow for the pace of the game. Good job overall.

Great submission! I think the biggest thing I would've liked is shorter timers and earlier frantic gameplay. It took a while to escalate, but once it did, it was fun!

Great job, I really enjoyed your game! It felt like a really polished game and you sure put lots of effort into it. I enjoyed the artstyle and the music goes very well with the gameplay. However I found a bug that cut my experience short: when you are burring a corpse and it transforms into a zombie before you finished, you are unable to move anymore. Overall great game which makes for a solid entry.

Awesome game. I was pleasantly suprised with the overall mood of the game. Hope you develop a post jam version for this!

Good game! Maybe the movement needs a bit more work (but is a jam, so, it's ok as it is!) and zombies are a bit too dumb. Anyway, great job!
