Bribery by 360
Hi there!
Grouped up with friends for this Jam!
The event is super fun, yet very challenging.
My top advice is to let your brain gears rest and function more productively by having a regular sleep schedule.
Perhaps your life is currency.
We love participating in Ludum Dare, and we hope you will like our game.
A short rogue-like game in which.. You are a mouse and you need to find a way home. You're being chased by a cat (orange box) and priests of the chapel (white square). Switch between floors using staircase (brown rectangle)

It's pretty simple.
Arrow keys to move, space to interact. You lose a :heartpulse: for each floor down.
When you reach "Complete", you have finished the demo.

Running from the big squares and brain them with the environment is enjoyable.
But some details are pity :
- the door's color is to close to the enemy's
- visiting the shop cost you 2 HP ! It's better for the player to not visit it
- it's hard to understand that you have to go back by the same door in the shop room
- in some stages, the target door is too close from the entry, so the level design passed away
- I didn't understand the end : the game said me "completed" but enemies killed me 3 seconds later...
Congratulations despite of that details :)
Some more play testing was necesarry too. The first few doors to the next room don't take health away, even though they say they do, and I had a white enemy hit me through a wall.
thanks for playing our game
Yeah you pay with health for taking a door, your life is currency.
We put placeholder art and just went on with making the game :)
Thank you for your feedback, all.
To improve it;
You can add more levels and make game take less space or put the camera away in some levels it was hard to see the door. Good luck!
I had fun playing. I liked the lighting effect, and thought the shop was nice surprise. Game was a little short, but well executed. Good entry!
Nevertheless, once you detach yourself from graphical elements, it becomes a bit more fun.
I've noticed some bugs tho, like cattangles getting stuck in walls and similar. But that's ok. I can live with that.
The shop thingie was really confusing. It didn't say this was a shop and it refered to life as hearts even tho everything on my screen was a rectangle
But the music was good
