I've just heard about the jam 10h ago, so i've tryed my best in this little time. I will work on the Project after the jam to compensate the timeloss and hope to bring this project to a stadium where it is nicely playable.

Till then i have to explain some thinks, that the game dosen't tell you:

Game

-restart the game with 'r' -use 'esc' to go back to the menu -move up with 'space' -move left and right with 'a' and 'd'

-you have to get as fast as possible to the goal -you get a bonus if you have more then one life -you get an even bigger bonus if you find a timeitem and sacrefice one or more lifes

Editor

-save with enter -the maps are saved in the 'maps'-folder -the edited map is always saved as 'test.map' -you have to delete or rename the old 'test.map'-file to save the maps correct

-use 'esc' to go back to the menu

-use '1', '2', '3' to switch between modes

What are modes?

-mode 1 (line): -create a line with leftmouse -create a new line with space -spawn static cubes along the line with rightmouse

-mode 2 (player): -set the player/s with leftmouse

-mode 3 (goal): -set the goal/s with leftmouse

-mode 4 (timebonus-item): -set the timebonus-item/s with leftmouse

I hope you like it. Have fun!

I like the instructions on this page, however it still was not clear how to do everything. However, I picked it up pretty quickly :P

This is a really cool little game.
I did tho get a bug, with the camera just being stuck at a random location.

Nice idea controlling the swarm and sacrificing it's units for time bonus. This game lacks graphics and polish but the core mechanics are there and overall it plays quite nicely. If only you had more time to put in some visuals.

I can't seem to get it to work, all of the levels are just a few cubes falling forever, until they disappear off screen...

@nate-prince @ogelgames make sure to export all files and folders, especially the 'maps'-folder.
If a map doesn't work, try another one.
I'm sorry for your problems

The game is interesting and it can be fun, but i can't understand the connection with the theme.

@lorwon You can choose to trade life for a timebonus

Simple but it doesn't require much more as long as the game mechanics are good!

This reminds me of a "real" game (one for sale) that also had you control a swarm through I think a forest. But I can't remember the name it.

@lakrits [LocoRoco](https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/LocoRoco) or [BADLAND](http://badlandgame.com/), perhaps?

For a game made in 10, it's not that bad at all. It reminds me a lot of badland, as Steffo stated before. The controls are a bit clumsy and some levels are unfinishable. I do not find the theme in it though.
