Space Meteor Runner by Los_Stormtroopers
Hello everybody, we are "Los_Stormtroopers". We met each other at the Ludum Dare event on Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 2015. Our group has six members: Aitor Lozano(Programmer) Javier Gil(Designer) José Braulio González (Programmer) Pablo Ebed López (Designer) Franco Belbey (Programmer) Dailos Santana(Composer) and "Space Meteor Runner" is our game. None of the team members knew each other before. 75 participants signed up for the Ludum Dare, and the organizers decided to make randomized groups. They fixed the randomization so that each group would have the necessary roles to develop the game.
First thing we did was thinking of posible games which mixed both themes. We thought of a runner, lateral scrolling, and dodging games. It was difficult to implement the growing mechanic and we wanted to build a 3D spaceships game although it doesn't exactly match the theme criteria, we found it fun.
Dailos took care of every sound related task, menu music, game over music, level and ingame music and sound effects. Everything in just one day!
The 3D design was perfomed by Pablo, and everything related to the GUI, buttons, intro, by Javier. The programming part was developed by Aitor, Braulio and Franco. Everybody had something to give, and we helped each other continously along all the game development progress, having a long and amazing weekend. We are all very pleased with this experience, and hopefully we'll see each other on the next event. It's a quite simple game, but we hope you enjoy it :D

I like the graphics and music. The controls are little bit harder - I miss the repair bonus a lot. Also I think it needs a little bit more balancing. In the beginning it's really simple and after some time it suddenly becomes unplayable. I think it would be better to start at faster speed, but accelerate slower.
But it's amazing you were group of people who met for the first time in their lives and made this game, thumbs up! :)
