This pretty banal runner “Up” has no value in the scope of mechanic's originality. Soundtrack is good. I recommend to increase difficulty gradually, instead of “ka-boom!” and then there is only half of the screen left.

@kostak thanks for the feedback. This was my first game using the Godot engine, so I wanted to make something very simple - no originality here! The difficulty increases gradually enough for my taste, the screen reduces at every zone. But I'll see what other people think.

Great job for your first Godot project! Loved your creative use of particles for both the stars and the running animation. Liked the music as well!

I think it would be nice if you had some sort of effect or benefit when you reach a certain number of points or something like that <3

All right, let´s get down on this:
Overall: Quite fun, played it for like 12 rounds which is quite a bit
It was kinda fun but not really "innovative". I liked the graphics, even if it was very simplistic, the stars looked kinda cool and I loved the animation of the guy jumping and the particles behind him.
I guess the best thing of the game: Audio. I loved the music you added which made me jump with the beat :v:
Overall, quite fun but getting boring after a few minutes.

The most fun game that I played in this jam, and the theme is really cool, and music. I think is great, you made a nice innovation in a runner based on the theme :).

@irhileth Effects/Power-Ups for earning points would definitely make this game more fun! During the design phase I really wanted to include some kind of benefit for collecting points (slowing down time, clearing all the holes on the screen, etc). However my main priority was to make something *simple* because I typically run out of time for jams, so I tossed the idea. I hope to make an improved post-jam version of the game.

Nice game! Simple but fun, with great assets and effects~. The only thing that got me was that the holes seemed a bit unforgiving, I just grazed them and I fell  Last level difficulty is brutal! I got so close to home, but I didn't manage to finish it...

Cheers!

Very basic but well done. Not very original as other have said, but feels nice. I like the way the stars fly by at the edges of the screen and the way the hole seem to come closer together as they near you. The jumping over holes is fun. The music is nice! Cool stuff! :)

Liked the audio, and the implentation of gameplay was good though I'd like to have seen some variation.
Another thing to consider, is that as the black things are meant to be "holes" in the road, you could maybe look into using some stencil buffer effect or something to have the stars show behind the road.
