The game idea is fun, and making the buggers was really fun. But sadly the game is a bit buggy and I was therefore never able to serve any burgers.

Hey, thanks for your time. Apparentaly the character movement was tied to the framerate which made the second part unplayable. I fixed it in 1.0.1 if you want to try.

Seems very fun ! However I can't manage to add components of the burger to the plate, how do we do that ? Love the mood and concept though :)

Spacebar should spawn the elements, and you can drag&drop them with mouse.

The game is very difficult. The major part of the job is done, but you only need to rework on physics. Nice mood and color in the restaurant.

Had a lot of fun with this one, really funny gameplay. Me and a friend and laugh a lot playing. Nice use of the theme! I made a burger with a steak almost falling and ** 18 pickles** , the final scene was hilarious.

This game is hilarious, I laughed so many times out loud. First thing I accidentally did was toss the plate away. As pro burger chefs do right?'PLATE? NUP DONT NEED THAT *Whoooshhh*' Haha :P Unfortunately I couldn't deliver the burgers (did you fix on the browser version?), it would be fun to see the rest of the game.
Great job on your first game jam. It also happens to be my first one too! *Hi five* We both got to submit a final product which is awesome. Check out mine if you've got the time https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/$53149
Congrats!

The physics in this is pretty janky, but thats what makes it so funny to play - like needing to take a runup to get up the stairs, or the fact I spent a good minute trying to scoop up a customers burger off the floor using their table as leverage before serving it to them upside down :joy:

So I didn't manage to serve a single burger, so it was too hard for me. The idea was great though!

Funny game, but its really really hard to control the physics. But that causes the funny situations. The controls for creating the burger are not really intuitive though. Nevertheless a good game!

Ah sorry! A freakin fun game idea but the controls killed it for me. :( I would have loved to play more but it was too frustrating for me. Polish the controls a bit and it would be amaaaazingballs. Oh yeah, loved the gfx!

I wanted to polish the controls a bit but I really ran out of time to fine-tune the game. I also started to get good in the game by doing test runs... :D There are some "tactics" that makes it a bit easier.

Unfortunetly I couldn't do anything, even after pressing space to spawn objects. They are under some kind of pan I imagine. Shame, because it looks fun! :( HMU if this get fixed

This was fun! I like how the burger pieces got stuck together when you went into delivery mode. And it's a nice atmosphere you created, with the music increasing in intensity and the silhouettes in the light.

I did not find it very beautiful, but I found it fun and funny, congratulations.

Super fun to play with friends! We would try to sabotage each other when they made their burgers initially which resulted in a lot of yelling which was extremely entertaining! Solid entry :)

This game is sooo funny. I enjoyed it when I made my burger, but serving it was a total nightmare...All I did was kicking it all the way to the table. LOL

Waw, this was HARD. My burgers ended up looking good but just couldn't get it delivered. Ended up trying to kick it over to the customer lol. Anyway, serving was really hard. But really cool idea for a mechanic and great mood.

The idea have potential but it need to be a little polished. Maybe something different in the delivery part?

"Looks good, still warm, it tastes a bit like the floor" Hahaha yeah you got me! Very fun, fits the theme. Great job!

I couldn't figure out how to get past the stairs, as they required momentum, which sent my :hamburger: flying. I tried to pick up the :hamburger: like in your GIF but even after trying to make a little handle with the top bun it was too difficult. :sob:

The idea is really cool & the effects/graphics are good. The game felt a little too awkward, moving even a small amount would shift the burger hard, but so much momentum is required to get up the stairs, and with the plate only being able to orbit it was very hard to counter that and the burger would fly. Also with orbiting plate not being able to reach the floor easily (though in a perfect world the burger wouldn't hit the floor!) The music is cool though and as a whole I had fun with the game.
