Love it! This is the most adorable and hilarous game I've played in this jam. I was laughing as I was playing. Really loved The Creation of Catm painting. And those yellow cats are the worst (in a good way). Solid game, no complaints. - Also hello from a fellow Godot dev.

Wow, this started off insane in the best way lol... it crashes when I lose on the mac, but I was able to beat it within three tries, great quick submission, I love short games like this that pack a powerful humor punch and then get out quick making you want more, nice job

It was very cute! Newgame++ was rather amusing. I especially liked how the text sounded kinda like a purring cat!

I really loved the graphics! I couldn't get past the two large black cats on top of each other though, even after several tries.

Overall a really good entry, the cat taking up all the space looks especially good too! I really liked this one :slight_smile:

@sokuaisushi Thanks! This was my first time really doing pixel art, so the positive feedback on it is nice. The double black cats is tough. You've gotta stand beside the jumping cat, and then jump on it while it's in midair, it won't jump if you're actually standing on it.

@phantom-dinosaur Unfortunately, we were working on a completely different game for the first half of the jam, which was sort of visual novel-esque, and then scrambled last minute to put together the platformer instead. I'm honestly glad we got a game out at all, but I do wish we'd started with the platformer and had time to do more for it.

@naver I tried to do that a few times but I guess I just didn't time it right. But for your first time really doing pixel art its amazing!! Much better than any pixel art I've ever made, that's for sure!

The graphics were really good especially if it was your first time! I also really appreciated new game++, it was fun to beat the whole game super easily as a reward for making it through the first time!

Also, I can't say no to a game about cats. :cat:

Simple but funny !! Game crashes if i hit the big cat following me ( on mac ) and first time, i don't understand that the black line on top don't stop me ! I like the graphics and the music too

@bomb-x Sorry about the mac crash, you're the second person to mention it. Unfortunately we didn't have a mac tester on short notice, and opted for just putting it out there blind instead of not including it. Yeah, once we changed the design we probably should've taken out the black on top and just stretched the wall up.

@cosmiccrystalgames Probably the best complaint you can get about a game! I had wanted to do a post-jam version with some more polish and length, alas programmer was not interested.
