Power de Poisson by Jajo

Power de Poisson is an endless-runner in which you play as a penguin collecting fish, which increase your power. Your speed decreases over time, or if you hit an obstacle- an anchor or ice-spikes. If you run out of power, game over. This was incredibly enjoyable to make, and I hope it's good enough to play too. Best of luck to everyone in the judging. Enjoy :)

EDIT: The link says "Windows", but it's actually in a .jar format, and should therefore run on Windows, Linux and Mac.

Nice name in frenglish ahah !
Penguins and fishes are funny but the gameplay itself is not really innovative. But it's clean and finished, graphics, music, even a title screen and a game over screen, and for a ludum dare game that's nice ! Good luck for your nexts projects ! It's just a suggestion but maybe play more with the fun aspect on the game and make the penguins screams things or comment your playstyle for example, it can be great even with a simple gameplay ! You only need to find some kind of "twist" in it !

Petit jeu sympathique ! It's fun to play, however become quickly repetitive and, if the speed is too slow, it's impossible to avoid obstacles.. I liked the graphics and the music, so overall, bon boulot !

Reallu simple, yet fun runner. Definitelly needs some polishing but its fun. It reminds me some of the games from early 2000's that I've played.

Haha, nice simple game. That music, lol. Would have been nice to have some extra control, like moving back and forth on the screen. It was hard to avoid those anchors, sometimes a combo of spikes and anchor was unavoidable. Impressively done in Java though! Nice little project, keep at it!

Hey :)

Thank you for complimenting on my music from Party island, I really appreciate it :))) Since you said you would like to listen to it; I have put the 2 tracks on Bandcamp, if you wanna listen to them feel free :) I’ve also added my paypal; if you wanna support me as an artist, just pay what you feel appropriate to pay :) I also make classical piano music, film-music and Pop/Rock music. We can stay in touch if you like and when I am done producing my songs I can send you stuff, or you just tell me what you are interested in :) This is the link : http://gerdo.bandcamp.com/album/party-island-ost and this is my email : gdrexler@edu.aau.at I also wanted to rate and play your game, I was so much looking forward to it cuz the title alone made me laugh already :D How does it work on OS ? You know I'm a noob, just a musician ... :D All the best :)

@Gdrexler nice. I'll also be sure to check out some of your other music when I can, and donate if I get the opportunity.

As for my game, just extract the zip and double click the .jar file. Should work on any OS :)

Hello! I was intrigued by the frenglish name, and wasn't disappointed!

You made a game with Java, which is my main language and especially Slick2D (I know this icon too much haha). Java games are quite rare so it's really nice to see one here.

About the game : the music is funny, graphics are simple but they work. The gameplay is understandable in a few seconds and I like games you can play with only one control.

I enjoyed playing it!

Fun game, although graphics are little too minimalistic for me.
