Asteroid Terrarium is an interactive[1] game inspired by an excerpt from Kim Stanley Robinson's excellent Science Fiction Novel "2312" In it the process of turning a rocky asteroid into a habitable biosphere is described much like one would the process of cooking a cake :3

[1] interactivity not included in initial prototype, only the ability to click through the steps :P

A much better version of this idea can be seen executed at the official site for the Novel: http://www.orbitbooks.net/2312/

If I can I'll complete and upload an improved version as a jam entry tonight!

It's a cute prototype, although you really seemed to replicate the other game you linked, it still has its own charme.

I feel like there's too much empty space on the screen and that the art is too small. Maybe center it all a bit more, so it doesn't feel so cramped.

Very interesting game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation [video series](https://youtu.be/2umBRLlsy2g), if you’d like to take a look :)

I clicked through all the instructions and was sad that it wasn't playable; it looks like it has a lot of promise to be a fun sim-type game.
