Santa's quite immobile, so he needs a shoulder-mounted snow cannon to get around. A small, interactive toy for Ludum Dare 43.

Sadly, I didn't have time to mold the mechanics into a game. Would love suggestions for how to turn it into a complete game!

Controls

Use your mouse to move the cursor. LMB fires a snowball.

The games a great idea and the music is a nice touch, you were asking for suggestions for how to make it a complete game. I was thinking yo could make it a platformer where Santa must move through the level by using the recoil from the cannon, could even have enemies that you can shoot. Overall it's a fun game and great idea, I look forward to what you do with it in the future.

Gotta love a Pico-8 entry! This mechanic has a lot of potential, I'm with the previous comment, it could work very well as a platformer where you have to collect stuff scattered around a room by cannon-jumping yourself around. Enemies could be there too as the cannon serves as a weapon (and one should be aware where to fire because of the recoil). Presentation-wise I think it looks great, would love to see more of this!

Ah this would have been really cool if you'd just included some more platforms.
Maybe sacc elves to feed your rocket launcher?
