Super satisfying punch mechanic.

The graphics in this were pretty great, like they were rotoscoped. The gameplay is a bit basic, although fighting the other dudes felt satisfying with that smack sound. The first time around, I didn't find the brief case :(

I wish there was music or some background ambience to compliment the rising water.

Overall, it was a great looking game!

@fakefirefly Thanks man, I cut it too close to get music in cause im a programming noob. The smack sound was a pitch lowered edit of my fist punching my hand lol, and the door was a crowbar banging around my floor. Also, nobody gets the briefcase on the first try (it was meant to be a suprise anyway)! Did you get the shotgun?

Pretty good. I'm notoriously bad at fighting games, but it turns out that if you go left first, there's a solution for people like me. Really appreciated! I got the briefcase to the top third try. Graphics were great, sound was pretty good, but it needed some music. It was short, but that's the point of Ludum Dare, and there was still a lot of stuff packed into it.

@jamie-reed thank you! I agree that some tense ambient music would have been perfect, but oh well. I'm glad it wasn't a total flop!

All right, wow. I see what can be accomplished in 48 hours. That's shocking. My biggest recommendation would be to do some time-lapse of your work progress so we can see you legitimately built that all in one weekend!

I'd recommend coloring everybody else differently; I couldn't tell who was me and who was an enemy when I'd go into new rooms.

@RandyTayler Thanks man! Blender is my secret. I didn't think ahead to record or anything cause I was so focused, but I would love to go into detail about my methods! The biggest thing you'll notice is that rooms are honestly just simple geometry pieces rendered beautifully by the cycles renderer in blender. ![scr_cap2.png](///raw/2ce/11/z/1a13a.png)
I used blender for ALL of the graphics; from the hearts to the water splashes. It does take time to learn how to use it, but its free and powerful.

Very cool graphics and animations! Love the take on the theme, and the level progression. I didn't feel like I had to dodge much, but finding the briefcase was really a nice treat :)

Awesome job overall!
