About

You're stranded on an alien planet. Collect kitties and refuel your ship with cuteness to escape! Be warned however, kittens are intensely concentrated balls of cute, and every so often there may be a CUTENESS OVERLOAD causing a Catsplosion!

These kitties don't take well to this and will turn devilish and try to hunt you if this happens! The more you have in the pen, the worse it will be for you as there will be more devil cats to fight off!

I like the subliminal messaging in this game

Heh, cuteness overload! I liked the environment and the music was nice-- I would have loved the ability to move the camera, either pan it or rotate or zoom or something.

Nice little game. It was uncomfortable to use arrow keys and mouse though, would have been easier with WASD to move.

Wow the assets in this game are brilliant, you really made those in 3 days? Nice!

I did like the art and sound a lot. The gameplay left a lot to be desired to me, but that is probably because i played with keyboard, aiming with 4d keys is impossibly hard.

As for improvements i would say add that mouse support man! Also i think the lighting could be easily improved to make your art pop even more :)

@corndog we honestly designed this around using a pad, hope you enjoyed it regardless though we'll try and pay more attention to keyboard and mouse next time.

@exezin Everything you see was made by us, no stock or store assets in sound, sight or behind the scenes :)

Thanks for playing it folks

Awesome graphics and music, the best so far! I can't get the calming done, though, I loose all the time :-/

Yeah, cuteness overload!

I love the concept! Implementation is good too but you could make the bad kitties show up a bit better against the background. Sometimes I didn't even see one coming :(

Nice game ! I didn't really undertsand the first time why i was killed (the gameover is a bit random i think).
Do you lose when monster cats reach the rocket ?
It's difficult to bubble the cats when they are chassing us (not enought speed and can't shoot backwards)
Nice graphics overall and you reaaaaally fit the theme :p

I like it ! With cuteness as energy, earth is safe !

Really good job with graphics and music (and lovely meow !).

Gameplay is fun too, but something is missing during bad kittes phase. Moving and firing in different directions would be good.

I died without really understand why, I seen no collision with bad kittes. Or maybe there is another way to loose ?

Cute game. You can add WASD along with arrow keys, I think.

Hi there, nice try! First 3D game I play here, congrats for the effort. The theme is respected, the controls are straightforward, job is done. It was fun on the first play, but I'm not sure I would spend hours on it to break my score. Still, it's impressive to see you've done that within a weekend :)

This was a solid game - I'm not sure how to defend against so many dragons, but I enjoyed getting my cats into a conga line! Nice job!

The starting phase felt kind of long. That was a bit boring. It got exciting when the first wave of enemies appeared. I would have loved to experience if collecting a huge batch of kitties in one phase would have created a huge force of enemies. So you would have to decide to collect only a few each phase to have fewer enemies at once. But it felt way to punishing to die instantly on one hit. Therefore I quit playing at that moment. A health bar would have been better.

This seems like a cute little casual shooter. I do have a few suggestions though.

- The cats get in the way of fighting enemies a lot. The player can also stand on top of the cats which seemed to cause me to fire over the enemies and miss shots. It might be a good idea to disable physics on the cats or something.

- It is very difficult to hit enemies with the keyboard controls. It might help if the yarn gun had a little bit of a spread.

- While I didn't spend the time to find out, it looked like you could win the game simply by camping out inside the shield around the ship and just grabbing cats that wander by. Maybe the cats should hang out in small areas away from the ship instead of wandering around randomly.

I thought the graphics were pretty decent, aside from some missing animations, and I loved the cat conga line. Gameplay-wise, it would have been nice to be able to use my mouse to change the direction I shoot in. Also after an explosion the bad cats couldn't breach my ship's bubble, so it was trivial to dispatch them safely. I think having the shield fail when the explosion happens would add some challenge.

@arkia thanks for the feedback, your suggestions are mostly things we just didn't have time to fix. I put together a tweaked version and put links in the description.

Don't use it to judge, but it is much improved with some very minor changes to some numbers.

Fun idea, I really wish that my character shot towards the mouse, and not the direction I was facing. Art reminded of me of Ratchet & Clank.
