Two finger bloody opera by Alen Loeb

[raw]
made by Alen Loeb for LD 41 (JAM)

i made this game by mixing 2 genres: fighting and opera music. It seemed a pretty good and crazy idea to me (also sometimes hilarious, since it's a ballet dancer with a sword cutting down spheres and there'sblood comming out of them) and I hope you'll enjoy playing it too. You don't need anything else to do than unzip the file and run the .exe file. The tutorial about how to play this game is in the main menu (Goals). This is also my first Ludum Dare and I hope you will like my game. Thanks for playing!

Very entertaining - the juxtaposition of the music and the bloodiness is amazing. Definitely high points for theme and mood.

I love the music and how the character moves. The light effect makes the scene feels like a serious stage and it's brilliant with classical music. The hit feedback could be more as I was keeping unsure if I hit the balls or they hit me. It's really challenging and I got -329

I seem to have difficulty understanding what I'm supposed to do or how to make positive progress... first game score was -300 something... very unclear what's happening, and what I need to do to change it :(. The visuals are nice combined with the opera music though =).

The game looked amazing, as many Unreal games do, but I am not sure how to gain positive. If hitting costs 2, and killing gains 2, how do you ever get positive? Also if being struck takes away 3, I can't imagine ever being able to get into the positive.

I'm not sure if you saw, but I played your game on my stream tonight https://www.twitch.tv/saoigames

If you hit 1 normal enemy, you get 2 points and lose 2 ppints. If you hit 2 normal enemies at the same time, you get 4 points and lose only 2. That's how you get points
