Really cool idea! The visuals are so appealing with the minimalist and smooth style. Nice job implementing a leaderboard too!.

@andrew-garcia Thanks man, appreciate the kind words, I realised near the end that this game isnt exactly the most fun so would be interested to hear if you have any suggestions to make it a bit more exciting?

Great visuals and a fun, creative take on the theme! The online leaderboard is a great feature to have added too! Well done!

Hey there. Awesome work!
I was lucky enough to make it to 10/10 on the first try, otherwise I would have had to play again. I really enjoy the visual polish here. Some sounds would make this a great overall experience.

One small suggestion: when the entered word is incorrect, show the player what the real word was. It is frustrating to know you're never going to find out what that one word was you couldn't guess.

I agree with you that the idea is a bit small and therefore you think this "isn't exactly the most fun". But I think you managed to execute this idea quite well. The problem here is that the game can't really be easily expanded upon. But I can imagine this fitting well into a bigger collection of minigames with some metagame around it, something like "You don't know Jack".

I really enjoyed playing this though, nice entry. :)

Edit: re-reading my comment made me realize that it seems like I didn't want to play again. I did, and I played again. Sorry if that came across weird.

@apace Thanks for the comment dude, I agree with you, I should add the correct word to the Incorrect popup so that it isnt left, especially as sometimes the blanks could mean that the word you (lets say larder) entered fits the format (--rder) just wasnt what the word the game was looking for (harder). Thanks for playing!

Exactly my thought : the correct answer should be shown. As a non native-speaker, I need to know if the word was part of my vocabulary or not (you know, to give myself good reasons to fail :p )

Otherwise, I loved it for its simplicity. Such simple mechanics in a smooth ui, I call genius.

Beautiful ui and the only problem is that it does no display the correct answer if I got it wrong..

I loved it! As mentioned, it would be cool to see what the correct word was when we guess wrong.

Woo! Part of the 10/10 crew!

Seriously, what a good time. I love all the flair you managed to pack into this minimalist experience. Perfect scope. What a treat to find. As others have said, the leaderboard is the cherry on top. I just wish the experience were a *liiiiiiiittle* longer so there were less perfect scores ;)

Really cool game, the leaderboard is a nice touch. I also wish it was a little longer, maybe around 15 words per game.
