We try to incorporate a simple balancing Pong game with music game, due to personal circumstance I neither have the will nor the brain power to soldier on and finished all the features we planned out to do. Here's hoping the next one will be better than what we have done in this jam.

The control schemes are:

Arrow Keys or A&D : Move

Space or Enter : Knock the ball

Please give our game a try and leave us a feedback.

it's a nice game :) granted, it could use a bit more time and treatment, BUT, this was a ludum dare after all and the fact that you finished this, had sound, good graphics AND a menu - I'd say you did a fantastic job my guy  kudos!

Cool game, I love the minimalist graphics. I felt like sometimes I was clicking at the right time but I was somehow still missing the ball. Other than that it was a fun game! 😄

Nice game ^^ I scored 43.
It's fun and polish.

I enjoy playing it. Simple but effective.

This is pretty nice. I'd recommend antialiasing on the graphics, and fixes for the bugs with multiple balls spawning and with the paddle hitting things downward, but overall, good fun.

**Good**
Really like the ball vanishing animation and the paddle impact animation. They were smooth and fit nicely with the action. They're something small that really increases the quality of the game.

The music gave the game some good atmosphere.

The game is quite intuitive and it doesn't need much explaining, which is definitely a positive

The text effect for the quality of hit was pleasant and fit nicely on the screen.

**Improvements**
I would like some indication that the game is a ping pong setting. It's hard to tell you're using a ping pong paddle.

I think you were planning on incorporating the music in the game, but by your description, I didn't see it.

I'm playing on full screen and can't interact with the options menu. It's nice you have one but you need to activate the mouse.

The swinging motion makes no sense to me. I feel that I'm hitting the ball while the paddle is aiming down.

Would like to see previous points and maybe how many points I get after each successful ball turn.

Hope to see you in the next compo!

I really like the graphical presentation of the game - it's minimalist but with enough effort to really look good - specifically the text flashing up upon a 'perfect' is pretty satisfying. Good job.

Enjoyed this one! Graphics are really cool. After some time balls stopped to come o-o And you should probably give some info about range of rocket :D But I really liked it, improve it and it will be well :D You are welcome to check my game! :D

This is great and is very similar to my idea. It seems very polished and the audio is great! This could honestly be a popular iOS app

Love the mechanics! Arcade games have a little space in my heart. Maybe a Restart key like the "R" would be a good thing for playing faster and more. Keep up the good work!

The idea and graphical style are nice, but it felt very random/buggy. Maybe I just got the gameplay wrong. It seems like you're saying it's not really finished so it makes sense that controls may be weird. I hope to see your next game in a few months! :)

This is weird. When I try to hit the ball at the same rhythm as the drums play, I miss it. Rhythm and music need to be link in those types of games and that doesn't seem to be the case here =/

@Ryunos I messed some of the code up on last minute update, should be better now. Sorry for the inconvenience \( ; - ;)/

I like very much the graphic style, minimalist and well done. I found it quite easy to follow the rythm after one or two runs, I managed to score 87 !! However I can't understand why the ball disappears at some point to reappear just after, falling from the top of the screen... Nice game overall, though I found it missed the the LD41's theme of putting together two incompatible genres.
