The main character sprite looks good, and the attacks you can use are cool.

I think the movement really takes away from the fun, the movement and jumps are way too fast even normally, if you press the down arrow you go with super speed and can even go backwards and get stuck outside the screen.
I didn't notice there was a plant that hurts you, and didn't understand why I kept dying...

Main character sprite and enemy sprite's looking polished and nicely done, but sometimes u just don't notice when u get hitted, I guess adding some sounds in game will improve the gameplay, music sounded pretty cool but the dash thingy is broken, I guess.

Love the music and the character animation.

Jumping is little fast for me. Second attack (Alt) is being triggered late so I end up sending it different way.

Good job with the background graphics.

Liked the graphics and the sound. I would fix some things like the player stopping when the button is released. Good entry!

The graphics are nice, however the game is fairly lacking.

The graphics were really good and the the music too, but the game itself was really not for me... Your physic is really lacking: there's not enough friction, so it's very hard to control your player. Sometime I would get throught the platform from below, sometimes not. Also, I'm not a fan of games where you can't go backward, especially for not apparent reason other than respect the LD theme: a giant wall of flame or semthing would help.

Also, some sound effect would be nice: it would be more engaging.

Nice atmosphere and music. The movements seems too slippery though and the jump is too fast as well. I think the character is pretty nice though, good job.

The character animations are awesome, but unfortunately the gameplay isn't so good. The controls are way too twitchy and it's really hard to jump up on the platforms. There seems to be a few bugs too (if you shoot the side of a platform, the 'bullet' will stop moving and stay there for a bit before disappearing).

Nice, I like the music! Like others have said, the controls could use some tweaking - mainly increasing the friction, and probably slowing the jump speed. Solid animation on the walk cycle btw. Nice work!

It's a beautiful game, but I think it's a little spoiled by the controls. The character feels a little too slippery, maybe could be slowed down slightly and stop faster when the controls are released. Also the jump speed feels very strange, I think the game would feel much better if vertical speed were lower overall and especially near the peak of the jump.

The music is super great, and the graphics is good. The game idea is okay, but the game needs some polish and a bit more to do. But overall a okay LD game.

Great music but floaty controls. I kept dying I think because I ran into enemy bodies after they died but before they had disappeared in case you want to fix that bug. I love me some platformer tho!

The animations for the main character are really good, and the enemy animations are good too. Unfortunately, the background is blurry and the enemies/obstacles can blend into it. The music is great, but the game could really use some sound effects. The movement is a little slippery and there doesn't seem to be any reason to go up to the higher platforms. I do think the ideas behind the mechanics are pretty cool, though. The shield in particular is a neat addition.
