The hand drawn graphics and the music is super great. The idea for the game simple and really fun. I am not sure if the shooting mechanics actually works. But overall a great little LD game.

I like the hand drawn look! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation [video series](https://youtu.be/gkrBZLZ7noU), if you’d like to take a look :)

Realy cool and I like it! As the people above said I as well like your Graphics and the Audio.
But Also the shooting is kind of weird, the bullets move to the outside! You can still open the Debug lines. The splash screen is a really nice feature. But I would like to have the main menu or so next time!
Overall a really nice entry.
Maybe you look also onto my entry and give me some Feedback!

The music is nice and the artstyle is unique but I think the enemies have a bit too much health and if you never moved at all your bullets also dont move.

I love the art style and music, however I think there could be some more enemy variation a long with maybe a few more different types of player attacks, I found it got quite repetitive after just spamming the X button the whole time. Other than that, good job! :)

A bit hard to get into the gameplay, but the art-style is a good idea.

Very nice graphics, and music. Gameplay is little too hard though. Character should jump little higher, and number of enemies should increase slower. Other than that very good game!

I like the graphics and sound. The movement is fast controls feels responsive. Also the vibration of all screen when hit feels very nice

The gameplay is too difficult because new enemies appear very fast. I think this should be tuned making new enemies appear at lower rate or if they died with less hits. With some gameplay funning

The physics of bullets is a bit strange. I don't know way they stop stop and keep floating at some height. It is cool when a lot of them keep there floating and you jump into them. I discovered that I can jump that way :-)
Were you trying to move the bullets with gravity and not in straight line that whould have been cool

I liked the graphics and the music. After the first round of play the view was a bit off, but I think this could be fixed relatively fast. The gameplay was quite fun and the game fitted the theme. Good Work!

You need to spawn some HP bonuses, some other weapons, maybe? Pretty easy to expand the gameplay.
Also try to make characters a bit shorter. And 1-2 seconds of invulnerability when got hit be the enemy, so the player could react on situation and not get consequent multiple hits.

I like the concept, art consistency and it was fun to play, but need more conten. Thank you.

Really enjoyed the music, and like the paper-style artwork. Nice mechanics, and liked the rebounce effect when firing the gun. Got a bit repetitive after a while, even if the mechanics allowed for some strategizing (jumping over and shooting from behind, using rebounce to keep distance from oncoming enemies..) Nice job!

I like the art style. It would be nice if the different types of enemies would look a little different.

The pushback from the automatic gun seems to only work if it is directed upwards in the picture.

I loved the bullets hanging around in "orbit" and me pushing them around when jumping.

Ambience was nice! The island looks quite cool! The combat was a bit hard to manage, specially from far away (Bullets took a long time to travel and it was a bit hard to hit the enemies) ! Still, nice entry! :D

The FX of the weapon were cool :D

Keep up the hard work!!

Nice little game. I also enjoyed the bullets staying in orbit but I think memorywise it is not the most efficient choice. Here is some Suggestions :
- Maybe enemies have a little too much health. You could lower the health of main enemies and add "Bosses" for example.
- The main character and enemy sprite is a little to thin so you could make them a little thicker to see them properly.

I don't if it is normal but hitboxes were apparent when I played (little red squares and the big circle for the planet).

Otherwise, it is a very pleasant game, really nice music and I had a lot of fun! Continue like this!

C'est du bon boulot!

Really like the hand drawn / paper style. Other comments already gave you hints for improvements - but anyway... Nice work! Congratulations.

BTW. 4 votes missing now... And you should directly link your game in the Blogpost on the frontpage...

I'm a simple man. I see hand-drawn graphics, I like it. But yeah, the whole aesthetic of your hand-drawn graphics is really great. The music was also quite good and the gameplay while simple it was fun and interesting! I would love it if it was more polished but in a compo this is kind of a luxury :P But you're onto something here and it's certainly great that you're participating. Great work!

Nice hand drawn assets, although the bullets have a slightly strange trajectory and in my opinion the characters are a bit too thin. Overall though a simple but fun shooter that totally fits the theme!

The graphical style was nice. The concept was cool, but seemed very limited. The music fit the game but was a little repetitive.
Good job!
