This was my first jam. Made this for Ludum Dare 42. A simple fast paced action game. Reach as far up as you can while dodging bullets, spikes and enemies. ( Please note : The game may not run smoothly on web browsers. I have added a downladable rar file for that purpose. There will be an option to download the game from itch.io page. Optimisation is something that i would be doing this week. Thank you for reading this and reviewing the game)
Fixes:
1.Changes in UI to restart and pause game from the keyboard.
2.The cube in the mainmenu can also move and jump properly now.
3.Added Music Option to choose tracks and control volume.
4.No changes gameplay-wise.
5.Added some screenshots

game play: 4/5 a good platformer
theme: 3/5 I like how the space gets smaller and smaller the higher you go
audio: its interesting
summery:I like it, could use some polishing, good job!
The music could be a little bit longer before it loops as it gets a little bit annoying after a while. Still just having music in a compo game is a really good thing, so not a huge issue.
I love the customization options.
Kudos for not requiring Windows (BTW, now that feedbackfriends has been shut down, it's hard to search games by platform - anyone knows some alternative?)
But the music is a bit too repetitive
Edit: Added music option and a little better UI navigation options.
Would be interesting to see this game adjusted for mobiles because I think this is a perfect game for mobile.
1) I know it's probably pretty random but would be nice if there were some guarantees that made the difficulty less varied across attempts. I had cases where I would get almost no squares for 6-7 levels at the beginning, and then another iterations where the first few levels were three squares each.
2) Probably just me - I like having clear goals and not just playing against high score - but I would be even more addicted to your games if you had more motivation for me to beat a certain (beatable but difficult) score. For example - if I knew something cool would happen at floor 20, I would probably have tried doing it a few more times until I'd get it :)
Anyway, it was super fun, thank you for submitting your game!
Art id simple but do the trick and I really felt I was running out of space :)
Good job :)
