*MOVE: *WASD or Arrow-Keys **

*JUMP: *space **

*PICK-UP/DROP: *Left Mouse Button **

*MOVE FOOD: *Scrollwheel or Q&E **

ROTATE FOOD: *Ctrl + * move food

*PAUSE/OPTIONS: *P **

You can set the audio volume and mouse-sensitivity in the options menu

You want to get rid of the king!!!

But how do you do that???

The only way is to give that gluttonous monarch so much food, he'll explode!!!

Originally this game was for the compo, but because of circumstances, I wasn't able to work on it the 2nd day. So I finished it on Monday.

All code, art, music etc is made by me, and it was made in 48 hours. Just not in 48 successive hours ;)

Update: - You can now move the food with Q & E - The key-modifier to rotate food is fixed, it is Left-Ctrl now (unless you rebind it)

I wasn't able to figure out how to make more food! Enjoyed playing the game anyways, and I didn't know you could bend your neck like that!

@shinysteel He is the king, he can do anything! Sadly there is only one type of food (because of lack of time), and if you make a couple of burgers for him you finish the game :)

@el-metallico Thanks for playing! If you pick up the meal and bring it to his outreached hand, he should take it from you.

This game has a fun idea, but after a while, it gets repetitive. I understand the lack of time, but I think if you were to continue the game, you should certainly add more food types.

Neat idea, I had to download as the web version seemed to have a weird behavior when scrolling. The gameplay is a bit dull after making two sandwiches it gets way too repetitive. I would also liked if I hadn't to scroll all over again when I missed a placement. Great job overall though.

I like the game, since I am hooked on Overcooked 2 at the moment and it reminds me a bit of it (except the stress level) It is a good idea and the seeting is good, buuuuut the controls are hell, the scrolling made me spin all the time so it was not easy to play :( if controls are better this can be quite good.

Physics based cooking game revolution edition! The kings design is as hilarious as the goal, especially seeing him looking at you from 3 meters above, his eyes saying "more food!". The end screen actually got a laugh from me. The web version is not that fluid but I'm not sure you can do anything about that. If you do a post jam release, which I encourage you to do, adding recipes, maybe requests and most importantly smoother controls would be perfect!

This isn't really a game as it is but it's a fun experience, I liked understanding how to give him the last hamburger. The camera was getting all wonky when I was scrolling though.

That was pretty cool! I love the diea and the graphics. The music was quite cute too. I did run into some issues while trying to move the food towards the table and it would rotate my phase 180 degrees in the other side. Made it a bit tricky to make the right hamburger. Other than that I really enjoyed your game!

Hahahahah what a game! This is simply hilarious! I really like the facial expressions and how king gets excited when he gets a new burger, he even does a little legs wiggle! I really like when king gets bigger you have to jump from the upper floor to reach his hands and give him the plate. Really fun game with cute music and graphics. Ah right, i have to download the game since web version was a little finicky when using the scroll, even in fullscreen. Anyway game is great, this is just a hilarious, perfect LD game!

Also i couldn't help but think about this while playing:

This was a really neat little experience. I liked the music and the art style. Minimalist but still good. It could be made into a neat little VR experience too if added onto. Maybe add a nice little animation, and it would be an awesome VR experience :smiley:

Thank you all for playing! Your feedback is really appreciated!

I planned to have at least 3 different recipes, and the king would shout at you what he'd like to eat. But yeah, the time constraint got me good! If I make a post-jam version I will definitely add more food types. Also, the scrolling seems to be a WebGL problem. I will look into it and maybe add an alternative way of moving the food in an update.

- Game gives some explanation with the example burger, works great :)
- Unclear how to give the burgers to mr king :o
- Animations of his face and arm are great XD
- grow animation is great!
- Would be great if you could add more content/mechanics in the future? Great entry!

Cute little game, the kings animations are great. The visuals and music are neat too. My only issue is that if I was moving the mouse and scrolling at the same time the camera went bonkers. It's a very interesting take on the theme tho, good job! :)

The king's face is hilarious. I found it hard to figure out how to get the recipe built but impressive work for 48 hours. I always love a good bun, I mean pun, so A+ on the name.

I liked the feel and pace of this game. It was simple and opperated in a satisfying way. Good shift! Thanks again for your help on LD40 with Run Guys. It came for me at a time when the world was feeling like it was full of unkind people. You did me a solid and un asked for favour just when I need one most. Peace
