Anyway, this is a pretty good sci fi-shooter for a quick play. Great job!
Would have liked to hear some sound effects for the shots and hits though, seems a bit strange without them
Feels a bit too zoomed in too, felt a little unfair sometimes when enemies jolted on screen and took a life
Enjoyed playing this though and definitely would be a game I'd play more of with a bit more development
I think with a bit more polish and further development, this could become a great game to release fully!
I love these shooter games and the controls on this one were really smooth, even if I had the impression that it moved faster depending on the direction.
With a bit of polish I'm sure it could almost feel like a finished game I'd be paying for. Congrats!
The graphics are stunning and the music and sounds create a really nice atmosphere. The enemies were a little easy to kite around once I got used to them (seeing the giant one on wave 4 was a nice surprise though). After playing for a little while I stopped taking any damage even if I just sat still and let them attack me.
A bit more feedback when you hit/get hit and destroy an enemy would have make it feel even better (like a bit of screenshake). :D And actually I didn't really get what was the use of the bars in the top right hand corner :x But still, great entry, congrats! :)
However the game feels like its lacking feedback, with no (edit: very minimal) SFX , and enemies seem to be a little hard to dodge as they spawn in random spots and move quite fast. Not sure how the theme figures in this one as well (the more levels you have, the worse it is?
Anyway, I kept fighting those waves for minutes before I realized nothing was happening (was too stunned by the amazing aesthetics). Congratulations
