How does one play this? I see only the gif.

EDIT: ah, I'm such a dummy, this is a jam entry. Keep going, it looks promising!

Needs more huge shrooms.

Not entirely sure what the story was about. Who are we. Why are we searching for fungi. Why is our animation so derpy and cute. No idea.

What I do know however is that the gameplay is fun and smooth, the atmosphere is nice and it's a pretty solid LD Entry overall.
How this relates to the theme could have been more clear though, as I don't think I really understand that bit =P

This felt really polished! The graphics were pretty good and the audio matches. Nitpicks: The character felt really heavy -- I think the jump curve could be tweaked a little. Also, this felt more like a reflex platformer than a puzzle platformer. The keys could be also less restrictive; a lot of times I prefer using WASD than arrow keys -- why not just allow both? Less restrictive keys means less time figuring out and getting used to the controls. Other than that, this was a really good game! Great job! :)

Very fun game, beautiful simplistic graphics (minus the fire blowers) and nice music. Short but sweet. I also agree with the other guy though that the character felt slightly too heavy.

A really nice polished game, graphic and audio goes well together, the puzzles are not too challenging but sometimes I had to repeat a couple of levels :P overall great entry.

Nice, polished entry. Smart puzzle design too!

I got to the puzzle with the raising of water, unfortunately the game crashed on a fatal error.

Nonetheless, pretty graphics and the music sets up a nice ambient. In contrast to other commentors I liked the heavy jump, maybe except for the pushing of blocks, which where stacked ontop another, which got pretty tedious after a few tries.

cheers~

I loved the graphics and music for this one, and the gameplay was smooth too. I got stuck at the level with the falling dice but I really enjoyed it, well done!

Reminds me a lot of GBC platformers. Loved the music with the jaunty off-beat, suited the aesthetic really well. Block pushing physics seemed a bit odd in places but not a deal-breaker by any stretch. Unfortunately, I did get stuck on a level so I didn't get to see all the content you put in, but that you kept adding new features for each level is impressive for such a short dev cycle! Good work.

Pretty interesting puzzle platformer. You did a great job on the graphics and sound. Would've liked a web version, though

This is a really nice entry! The mechanics are well-introduced, and the animations/gestures are super cute. I liked double-tapping the door once I had the key. It felt nice after figuring out puzzle.

One tiny nitpick would be that I'd occasionally _dodge_ a pickup item as it shot towards me. Or, I'd walk close to it, then double back out of its trajectory and it would fly offscreen. That's something that can be fixed with a little bit of tweening, but otherwise pickups were great and felt rewarding.

Nice game dude! The concept is pretty basic, yet the LD feels controlled and is really intuitive. The difficulty curve is just right, and the animations are quite smooth. The music gets a little bit repetitive, but nice entry overall!

Really a very cool platformer! Although not very clear topic.
Here probably the best animations of all that I've seen!

Hi! loved the graphics, the jump animation was pretty cool and the puzzles were clever. The music fitted the gameplay pretty good too. The only downside I can think of is that the jump was a bit unresponsive sometimes.

By the way, the game crashed in the level with the conveyor belt (i hope that's how it's named, i had to google that lol) when the box fell in my head.

Good job!
