Checking out an ibm pc with some old stuff, found a folder called "aRCANE".

Its contents (which you can now access through html5) seem to be some sort of drone controlling software.

Ive tried to trace the signal from my computer and it goes straight to the atmosphere so it might be sending some stuff to some place.

Graphics are advanced for its time on some part of the galaxy (made with an ancient/godlike tool call Aseprite).

Sound effects are lo-fi for amazing enjoyness (generated by the ol´ Labchirp).

And that´s all I have to say about this.

***CONTROLS***

Use ARROW KEYS to move the DRONE & Z, X, C to access his functions.

M to mute the bastard (music was made with an old software called Figure for iOS).

F to Fullscreen/Full experience/Destroyer of eyes and ears.

***END***

Notes from the engine (a really old crappy software called C2)

***Save/Load game feature didnt make, i cant tell if it works, just try it***

***aRCANE is unballanced, i just set some random values***

I love the lilting aesthetic of the combined music, graphics, and gameplay.

I only had a few minutes to sit down and play, so I wasn't able to get enough materials to do anything, but I could see myself zoning out to this as a little escapist casual game.

Really cool! I played for a while but struggled a bit with the controls and gave up. It was a little hard to understand excactly what to do. But I still had fun, I liked the scanner where you had to figure out what way to go!

I like the "Upgrade" game style with space theme. After I upgrade everything I am little confused what to do. But I really enjoy the game and the art-style. Thanks. :)

I loved the feel of the game, but I was a bit confused as to what I was doing. You really nailed the sound and art though! Good job

Love it! Brought me back to some old space games on the Amiga like wingcommander (even though much simpler).
Well executed. Nice ambient music

It was very satisfying to shoot the asteroids but after a while I couldn't find any. Maybe I'm just not patient enough but I enjoyed the atmosphere of it ;P

The graphics was very retro style and I loved it! Discovered that if you stay still the rocks will come to you. At the beginning I keep moving my camera and the rock does appear if i do that. A bug? The game progress is a bit slow I need to lot of minerals to do things but they don't appear very fast. I think add a bit more challenges will make the game more interesting. However, I enjoyed playing the game as it is. Well done!
