I wandered as far out into the wastelands as I could searching for hope, all I found was robots.

I would say this game is more about running out of time, but there are batteries and evil robots included! You got the atmosphere down, and I find myself compelled to help the strange doctor keep his patient alive, albeit via his peculiar methodology. The shooting is a bit weird as I am not sure where the aim is going, but managed to kick some robot butt. The hospital compass is a great tool.

I dare say this game is well worth your efforts, it shows fun robot butt-kicking potential. Plus I love LÖVE games on LD!

Found a bug! When you die you can still shoot.

It's an intresting idea of the last doctor and the last patient. Art is nice, but locations are quite monotonous. And it would be great to be able to shoot up and down.

Oddly, this reminds me a bit of the first Legend of Zelda. You explore the world one lethal screen at a time. The directions you can shoot at are very limited and that makes things hard - it's not necessarily a bad thing!

There isn't much to do, however, and the gameplay becomes easily repetitive. Difficulty keeps things interesting, though!

The precise timing and placement of the shot made for pretty interesting gameplay. The ambience created by the background sound was great. Sadly, I kept getting killed by seemingly invisible robots. The collected batteries carried over to the next round if unused, something that could be abused to get a high score.

n'aww poor robots. Cool game, I love arena shooters, lovely what you managed to do in such a short time!

Really nice, but needs more polishing:
- after death I was still able to steer the player,
- when mashing space, character shoots from shotgun, like from machine gun.

I have a couple of questions, if you don't mind:
- Does this game have a win condition? Or any ideas for it.
- Were you planning to add a long range weapon instead of a close combat one?
- Have you tried any other engines? I see LÖVE but a bit curious about your choice.

Thank you!

*Minor complaint: itch.io links are truncated to something like "patient-out-of-time-1.6...." so it's not possible to see the actual platform and full version number.*
