Office Fireman by chrissou

[raw]
made by chrissou for LD34 (COMPO)
Theme used: "Two Button Control" (Wanted to include the other theme with fire spreading but you know ... reasons)

On you office chair with an extinguisher, go through levels by reaching the green zone.
You can put out fire with the extinguisher
Don't waste the extinguisher content, but you can refill it if you find other extinguishers on the ground.
Beware of the blue extinguishers! They are unstable

This is an interesting idea. Some animations would have helped a lot and the art didn't seem all that consistent. In terms of gameplay, the physics were decent and worked well with the gameplay. The navigation is tricky but that isn't a bad thing since we are supposed to be propelling ourselves around on an office chair, the challenge makes the game.

Very frustrating to only be able to turn one direction :( Still, I love the image of a guy putting out fires on a wheely chair.

haha funny idea and cool game. I wanted to do something similar in real life anyway ;) sadly the theme really messed up with this one cause 3 buttons would've been soooo nice

The physics look good, but the mood suffers from lack of audio.

I think the theme was a little weak, and being able to only turn in one direction was quite frustrating. Apart from that, the game has cool mechanics such as being able to put out fires and various pickups. Having a supply level keeps you on your toes, making sure you complete the level in time.

Had fun playing your game. a find the first few levels more difficult than the last one, you could thinkt about rearranging them to get a better learning curve. :)

i really like the concept and the idea of your game,
and it is well done for a compo.
