2nd level is super difficult. Wasn't able to do that jump on that purple thing...

Still a good concept. Would have liked if it would have ramped up a little bit :)

Love the shrinking platforms. Could not get pass the second level with the purple bullet coming at you. Tried it for a while and gave up lol. Any tips? Or I just suck at it.

The first comet coming at the player is intended to introduce the danger of those comets.
I only created 3 levels which makes me running out of space (duh) to smooth out the difficulty curve. I chose to not make the game easy and beatable in under 5 minutes.

(Spoilers)
Level 3 is more difficult than level 2 quite a bit. You can watch my entire playthrough here: https://youtu.be/l_v3UGEPzVw
It is by no means a perfect run and it shows exactly how difficult this is. I will admit level 3's difficulty is more like level 30.

Was really fun for a bit but I also could not pass the second level. The music was interesting but definitely a bit repetitive and could have been a bit more compelling. For the level I could play, the game wasn't bad!

It's a nice concept, but as others already said, the levels are getting hard extremely early. I've beaten the second level, but the third one was too difficult. I love the animations on the player character and the overall graphics!

EDIT after watching the video and reading the comment:
It's indeed better if you would have more levels to spread out the difficulty increase. Overall well done though!

The game is solid and it feels nice to jump. There is a little bug though when you jump once and then quickly press space when you hit the ground, the next jump is a very weak jump.
Maybe you could have used physics for the platform ? Grea little game nontheless.

A quick press of the jump button resulting in a weaker jump is actually an intended feature. However, if the jump is very weak (like barely even lifted), then that would be a bug that I have never encountered. Thanks for the awesome feedbacks!

Nice introduction to the mechanics, but after that it just gets really hard, too frustrating imo. Nice "squash and stretch" on that jumping animation, good job!

I'm unable to beat the third level :D I love the design of the character and its animation. Your space is running out of screen so you met the theme perfetly.

Fun concept!
A bit frustrating at times as it seems like I'm not alone to think... :D
Hope you keep working on the concept!

Also a nice game idea - with some more polish (and fixing the double jump issue) it might have a chance as a mobile game in my opinion...

Very interesting mechanic, I think it is very promising for a post-jam version. Keep it up

Nice game! Quite infuriating because the character sometimes jumps when he lands on a platform.

I didn't find level 2 too difficult and I feel with a little more work I could have made it past level 3. I had fun playing it and was pretty determined. Like others have stated I think with some polish this could be a good mobile game.
